The hotel carpet smells, the building is old and needs a total replacement of carpet. When we entered our room. It smells like bleach everywhere. We have to open the window to make it go away. The room is decent size and the toilet and bath are separated where there are no hand basin to use after using the toilet if someone is using the shower or bath tub. The view from our balcony is magnificent, the Melbourne tall buildings skyline. I also love the location because it is near public transport, free tram and shops, even universities. The kitchen are complete with cooking utensils and pans. They got free coffee, tea and milk. The toiletries were given 1 set of tiny bottles but we are 4 people booked in.

Very convenient location as it just 10mins walk to Melbourne central. The rmit university and swanston tram station right in front of the hotel building. Don’t have enough time to enjoy pool and sauna as it opens from 7am-9pm only. The only dissatisfied is I don’t know that the room service is provided. On the 4th night of our stay while we entered the room after one day trip, we realized that the cleaner has actually entered and cleaned our room without asking our permission. Imagine what if our goods have went missing, can the hotel management beared the cost of our loss? Please do not enter the room without inform customer, customer will ask for room cleaning if they really want the service.

Наша семья, состоящая из 4 взрослых + 1 малыша и 1 младенца, остановилась на 3 ночи в квартире с 2 спальнями. По нашему запросу предоставили детскую кроватку. Квартира была полностью меблирована, с полностью оборудованной кухней и стиральной/сушильной машиной. И поэтому мы можем готовить еду и стирать. Торговый центр BoxHill Central находится по соседству, а вокруг отеля расположено множество ресторанов. Отель находится примерно в 45 минутах езды от аэропорта Мельбурна. Парковки для нас больше не было, поэтому пришлось парковаться вдоль дороги и на вокзале под торговым центром (бесплатная парковка). В целом, это было комфортное пребывание.

За последние десять лет я останавливался во многих апартаментах Punt Hill, хотя последний раз останавливался там довольно давно. Наши апартаменты с одной спальней были просторными, однако отель сейчас довольно обветшал. Стены в ванной были не очень чистыми, как и кружки и столовые приборы (я всегда стараюсь мыть всё перед использованием!). В итоге я жил в отеле большую часть времени, так как болел гриппом. Я заметил, что Wi-Fi тоже работал нестабильно и с перебоями. Смотреть потоковые передачи было довольно сложно, и в итоге я пользовался только телефоном. Зато кровати были удобными! Расположение тоже просто фантастическое: в самом сердце Чайнатауна, и до всего можно было легко дойти пешком.

Very easy check in. Instructions by reception were spot on.  The one bedroom apartment was huge. Plenty of room with an equally huge balcony.  The place was clean, apart from one of the towels that had some type of hard black stain that stick do towels to it’s self. Not ideal, but this would be an issue with the laundry company that Quest use.  I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend.

Not recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy. Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections. Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment. None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests. FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building. The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful. In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross. I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind. The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.

В целом чисто и соответствует стандартам. Особенно удобной была процедура регистрации заезда и выезда, так как ключ просто оставили на обеденном столе. Парковка тоже была удобной, так как наша машина стояла прямо у входа. В номере также были чайник и большой холодильник, а на смарт-телевизоре были Netflix и YouTube с качественным звуком. В целом, приятное пребывание!

Place was lovely for the 1 night I stayed there.

Наушники Apple были оставлены вне гостиничного номера. Затем свяжитесь с платформой Ctrip и попросите сотрудников стойки регистрации отеля отправить билет обратно. Затем служба поддержки клиентов ответила, что отель не найден. Так что я могу только верить в это. После двух месяцев наблюдений я обнаружил, что наушники использовались в отеле, и главное, что они использовались. Последнее использование произошло вечером 30 сентября 2024 года по пекинскому времени, как показано на рисунке. Было очевидно, что его подобрал и использовал сам сотрудник отеля. Затем я сказал в отеле, что не видел его. Итак, персонал этого отеля нечистоплотный. Студентам, забронировавшим номер в гостинице, перед отъездом следует проверить наличие всех своих вещей.

I stayed at house 13 on March 10 2025, and there a gang of black people having a party over the night at house 12. I don't want to discrimate people and I used the word ”black” merely to describe that group of people that night. The music is very loud, and from time to time there are heavy drum beats which you can feel the vibration from the floor, and sometimes they knocked the wall of the townhouse separating house 13 / 12, and I supposed no one can sleep under this situation. Both my wife and me could not sleep but scared because they are young & strong black males. Finally we turned on the light at 2 a.m. and open the curtain to tell them to quiet from our 1/F balcony when 3 of them were arguing with a woman loudly in the common backyard. They ignored and continued! At 5 p.m. it's raining but I could not tolerate anymore, I went out to tell them silence please! A big tall black guy (not brown, very black) said ” I got you!”. Frankly speaking, I was a little bit scare., but what elase I could do?! When the reception open next day (house 1?), I complained and requested a change of room (actually house). The reception ladies are very friendly and they said they had reported the police twice that night for the noise is too loud & affecting many customers staying at different houses that night. But they do the same regardless the police warning. According to the reception, she had blacklisted this customer from booking the Quest hotel chain nationalwide (Australia) anymore. When I returned to the hotel the other day, I got a thank you card apologize for what had happened together with a bottle of wine for the inconvenience caused. Although I had a nightmare in this hotel, I think it is a one-off incident, and I will still recomend this service apartment.
