Сан-Хосе, Коста-Рика: отели, где есть С баром

Фантастический отель, выглядит по-другому. Традиционный дизайн с красивыми рисунками. Хорошее вино в баре.

Нам понравился персонал и расположение. Мы попробовали ресторан отеля и обнаружили, что еда отличная, но дорогая. Нам понравился номер, но не хватало некоторых основных вещей, таких как шапочка для душа и матрасы, которые мы привыкли видеть в подобных отелях. Они предоставляют только 2 бесплатные бутылки воды, так что не ждите пару бутылок каждый день, как в других отелях. Интернет-соединение было очень разочаровывающим. Кровать была удобной, и в целом номер был неплохим.

Номер с кроватью размера «king-size» и видом на город, 14 этаж: 2 ночи. Июль * Музыка из бара напротив парка будет доноситься до 3 часов ночи. Шума с обычных городских улиц почти не слышно. * В этом отеле нет свежего воздуха. Все окна герметичны. * Нет холодильника, нет Netflix. Зато по телевизору много англоязычных каналов. * Хороший интернет. * Отличная горячая вода и напор. * Небольшой тренажерный зал, но без окон, и телевизор не работал. * Хороший крытый бассейн, но вода слишком холодная для меня. Нет окон, но прозрачный купол. * Завтрак с хорошим выбором, не очень подходит для вегетарианцев. * Ресторан дорогой, как в любом другом отеле, но персонал отзывчивый. * Бесплатная парковка. * Очень приятный персонал. * Бронирование на Trip.com было проблемой, у них не было моей брони. Регистрация заняла целый час. При выезде с меня списали стоимость номера, который уже был оплачен на Trip.com. Пришлось просить вернуть деньги, что они и сделали. Никаких споров, только множество объяснений и подтверждение оплаты... но персонал был очень вежливым и отзывчивым. * На стойке регистрации и выезда работает всего один человек. * Везде легко ходить пешком. * Легко ориентироваться с помощью Google Maps или Waze.

Good points, room very nice and clean. Bar and pool staff very good. Dinner OK. Amenities also good. Not so good, receptionists abrupt and unwelcoming, we were told to see the bell man to organise a lift to the airport and he just left us standing at his desk organising about 10 suitcases and then walked off to deliver them to various rooms. We went for breakfast at 05.00 as it says on room information and was told when checking out it opens at 05.30. We had a flight to catch and make our own way to the airport so no breakfast.

The location is incredibly convenient, especially if you’re heading to or from the airport or bus terminals. The staff were welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips. My room was clean, secure, and surprisingly quiet despite being in the city. The common areas are stylish and spacious, with a cozy on-site restaurant that serves excellent breakfast and coffee. It truly felt more like a boutique guesthouse than a typical hostel. Highly recommend for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for comfort and value in San José.

It's a decent hotel with a lot of details that aren't quite right. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are excellent. The maid didn't empty the trash cans during our two-night stay, nor was the shampoo ever refilled in the dispenser in the shower. There are no carpets or rugs in the room so you're constantly walking on luxury vinyl plank flooring with wet feet. After you get out of the shower. There are no Kleenex boxes or dispensers in the room, and the TV programming was difficult to decipher, especially the secondary audio program in order to listen to the TV in English rather than Spanish. Also, the closed captioning never worked on the TV

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Balmoral San José. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, which made it easy to relax in. The beds were very comfortable and we slept really well throughout our stay. One thing to be aware of is that many rooms — including all of the Superior Plus rooms — have their windows facing into a dark gap between the buildings rather than outside. This means you don’t get natural light or a view, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the staff were absolutely great — friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. Overall, a very good hotel in an excellent central location, and we would happily stay here again.

Book only one night needed to be closed to the airport prior to leaving Costa Rica. I arrived too early to check in so I left my backpack in the storage and went sightseeing. Rooms were cleaned however my issues was with the cleanliness of the bathrooms I wish they were cleaner . Shower’s didn’t have any hooks or shelves and I didn’t have anywhere to but my stuff other then the floor. I found a very cockroach in the shower which was also gross. Bathrooms could definitely be cleaner and furniture could be less broken done. Definitely more on the budget friendly side.
