I will start my review by saying the staff were very helpful and can only work with what they have. Our check in was fine but on getting to our room it was like a fridge and the heating was very poor and even after being on for an hour or more was barely warm. We had to get a connector heater which was broken!! We had to prop it up with part of the hair dryer. The draft at the window was like a gale force wind. The room was well showing its age there was no mirror over the dressing table/desk. And the curtains were thread bare. The swimming pool was OK but the steam room and jacuzzi was not working. I was expecting a lot more from a mercury hotel. We were very disappointed.

Единственным недостатком было то, что этот отель находится в гуще ночных клубов и снаружи так называемых садовых баров, поэтому в номере было довольно шумно, но нас это не особо беспокоило, потому что мы оба могли спать во время фейерверков. Но если вы чутко спите и вам нужно лечь спать пораньше, возьмите с собой наушники.

Отзывы могут быть довольно негативными, и я согласен, что номера не помешали бы обновлению, НО это старый отель, полный самобытности и истории, и нам очень понравилось. Он расположен в самом центре, в 6 минутах ходьбы от станции Lime St и в 7 минутах от квартала Cavern. (Соседний паб Vines тоже стоит посетить, а в 15 минутах в противоположном направлении находится паб Philharmonic – прекрасное место с историей и отмеченным наградами стейк-паем.) Персонал отеля был дружелюбным, отзывчивым и очень приятным. Рядом со стойкой регистрации есть несколько хороших баров, в том числе American Bar, в котором царит атмосфера корабельного салона. Мы получили отличную скидку и провели здесь 3 ночи, прекрасно проведя время. С удовольствием бы вернулся, хотя номерам действительно нужен косметический ремонт. 😀

Отличный отель прямо напротив доков Альберта и примерно в десяти минутах ходьбы от Болд-стрит и магазинов. Парковка находится прямо под отелем, и это здорово, ее стоимость составляет 15 фунтов стерлингов за 24 часа. Завтрак был как приготовленным, так и континентальным, поэтому большой выбор, и можно было приготовить собственные вафли (которые понравились детям).

We stayed here the night before creamfeilds I will start with the good points .. Staff 10/10 so helpful and very good customer services skills.. cleanliness was top notch, the breakfast was plentiful, the mattress in the bed room was actually one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses I have stayed on and I was thinking we would get a lovely nights rest before our festival but on to the bad points. we had the worst nights sleep of our lives our room was facing the road. Now this road is busy throughout the whole of the night. It is non stop, you can hear every car, every lorry, every motor bike, every horn every engine zooming past all throughout the whole night ! We barely slept a wink !! We was shattered the next day. We told the staff the manager said to go through the app we booked on and we can get 20% back as they would of gave us a free breakfast for our trouble but we had already bought one . The manager and receptionist were so lovely. They do know this is an issue and have been trying to get something implemented from the company to resolve this issue as it’s not just us who have complained about this .. and unfortunately I would not stay here again until the issue is resolved and they got the triple glazing windows to reduce noise otherwise I would much rather book another hotel without the noise issues so I could get a good nights rest ..

Really lovely hotel , beautiful big rooms with a comfy bed , all you need with a fridge, hairdryer and even robes. Breakfast was cold so I would not recommend that but hotel is great and shops and fast food venues 5 minutes walk away.

Negative points from our stay I travelled with my 11 year old grandson, I booked us a twin room, which we got. Unfortunately, the room was an adjoining room to a double and the ”activity” noises from the other room were so bad that we checked out at 11pm as I didn't want my grandson to have to experience that. It literally sounded like they were in the room with us. I would perhaps suggest that in the future you look at your guest list and unless adjoining rooms are with the same party, where children are in a twin, look to accommodate the couple in another part of the hotel where possible. I was disappointed that we were expected to pay £5 each to use the pool as I have never stayed at an hotel where it is not included in the room price. Positive All the staff were really friendly and helped as much as they could. The night Duty Manager was especially helpful and empathetic to my room dilemma but was unable to find us an alternative twin room, only a double which was not appropriate for us. We ate in the bar and the food was exceptional although a little pricey. The location was good and the hotel was easy to find. Be careful when you leave as there are two speed bumps on the exit, and no matter how slow you are going, it feels and sounds like your cars insides are dropping out. Rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable.
