My friend and I booked this hotel for one night's stay with breakfast included. Travelling down from Yorkshire, we had tickets for the Women’s Rugby World Cup to watch England and Delta's location was convenient for Northampton's Cinch Stadium. We've not stayed at this particular Marriott establishment before but the price was reasonable and the reviews appeared positive. We cannot fault the place; it was absolutely perfect! The staff were all so welcoming, especially the gentleman on reception. Friendly, pleasant, helpful and engaging, offering advice and information on the surrounding areas; nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotlessly clean and that included our spacious twin room. Fittings and furnishings were of a very good standard and the beds were extremely comfortable. There's a nice ambience and our short stay was very relaxed and peaceful. We had breakfast on site, at the Cast Iron Grill and it was delicious with so much variety. There's also the ”Grab and Go” food station, in the lobby with snacks and drinks available 24/7. Despite the hotel being near the M1, the surrounding area is beautiful and picturesque, surrounded by fields with a nearby lake; it's ideal for a leisurely walk. There's also ample car parking on site, which is complimentary. Overall, an excellent experience and we highly recommend this hotel. Thank you.

The Room was fine and the building is historical and beautiful. Sadly the spa is nothing great its more like a hotel with a pool and some treatment rooms. The outside pool was not available so it was just a normal size swimming pool with a whirlpool on it. Also they said its open till 8 and then at 18:00 they told us to leave as they gonna close?? The spa was one of the main reason we came and it was disappointing. The rest was fine. Food a bit overpriced.

Parking is not clearly advertised as an extra £8 and I booked with trip which should include a free upgrade if available. Hotel seemed very quiet on a Sunday night but no upgrade offered or referred to. Ir the 20% discount in good and drinks I was entitled to was not mentioned either. The rooms are nice but the surprise fee for parking and no complimentary upgrade when applicable and available was disappointing as was the mechanical approach if the receptionist at check in.

Hotel was clean and cosy, with modern bathroom. The staff were really lovely, and the breakfast was great. The general atmosphere is also lovely. When we got there, the radio was switched on, and I haven't listened to the radio in such a long time, it was a nice touch. This hotel paid attention to small details and it made our stay more enjoyable. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, and cost was reasonable. There were a range of serials, toast and jams available, along with juices and fresh milk. The local restaurants are also highly rated, we ate at Tuana and The Ship Inn, and had recommendations from locals about where else to go, if we had time we would have loved to try Dexter's! We're so happy to have stayed here! Con: £25 early check in charge, even though the room was ready and pre-booked.

I recently enjoyed a relaxing stay at Barton Hall. The grounds are beautiful, and the spa was a highlight, especially in the sunshine. However, the breakfast was disappointing. The English breakfast options were too salty, and the juice tasted synthetic, making it poor value for money. The staff were somewhat strict about the rules for accessing the spa, which felt a bit excessive. Despite this, they were generally helpful and courteous. Overall, a nice stay with lovely surroundings, but some improvements needed in breakfast quality and staff approach.

Приехали поздно, сразу после полуночи, никого не было, пришлось бродить и кричать, чтобы кто-то заселился. В конце концов, мы нашли людей, которые готовили комнату для переговоров. Номер был чистым, хотя и выглядел немного потрёпанным. Геля для душа не было. Номер находился на главной дорожке и примыкал к лестнице, поэтому утром было очень шумно. В 9 утра к нам постучала уборщица, пытаясь войти в номер, но, к счастью, мы заперли дверь. Завтрак был хорошим, хотя горячая еда была сухой и пережаренной. Скорость интернета была нормальной, а вот телевизор нуждается в замене.

Nice enough modern hotel with comfortable le spacious twin room,( was a bit of an odour when we opened the door but seemed to disappear after 10 mins or so,was a party going on till early hours we were told but didn't really notice much noise,decent breakfast(had better)but good variety,wasn't able to use all facilities unfortunately as had to leave Earlish but would probably book again

We were a group of friends and stayed for 1 night. We absolutely enjoyed it. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, aircon worked very well, breakfast was fantastic and restaurant staff were very friendly and fast, SPA facilities and staff were lovely. Check in and check out was super fast and we even got our rooms earlier than expected. Thank you so much, we will definitely come back!

Pictures advert shows swimming pool,but there is no swimming in the hotel ,my family not happy at all,will book the hotel because of swimming pool

Nice hotel that we haven’t visited for a few years because of price increases. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Check in good and great staff all round. Only problems were the bed is much smaller than in Holiday Inn Express , the shower had no connection strip to connect panel to bath therefore a flooded floor, also no full length mirror for dressing.
