Lovely overnight stay. Hotel was really busy with a large party but the staff looked after us really well. Not a reflection on the hotel but they booked a taxi to pick us up and the taxi firm were totally useless. Having waited twenty minutes past the scheduled time, we called an Uber which was there in five minutes. Overall, this is a great hotel which we have stayed at previously and will do so again.

Персонал очень отзывчивый и приятный, и у меня была, как обычно, дополнительная просьба — номер с видом на канал. К сожалению, мне дали номер на противоположной стороне от того, что я запрашивала, но я вернулась на ресепшн, и сотрудники очень помогли мне решить этот вопрос, и, возможно, мне дали правильный номер.

Звукоизоляция в номере отеля не очень хорошая, Потому что слышен шум машин снаружи, С 2 часов ночи до 5 утра можно услышать пение птиц, Потому что самый верхний этаж этого отеля — 7-й, Мне лучше остановиться на 5-м этаже. Потому что, когда официант впервые забронировал мне номер, Номер комнаты 711 на 7-м этаже, и это последний номер. Когда вы войдете в номер 711 на 7-м этаже, Вы увидите, что там очень грязно и сильно пахнет курением. Я не сделал фото тогда, поэтому сразу сообщил об этом. Когда я купил отель, Я написал в комментариях: «Не хочу угловой номер». Я пришел заселяться в 4 часа. Почему мне пришлось выбрать последний номер? Когда я пожаловался персоналу, персонал сразу же переместил номер на 5-й этаж, расположенный рядом с лестницей, на фото ниже. Там номер чище и нет запаха дыма. Думаю, он мне подходит. Завтрак в отеле очень сытный. Когда я заказал, мне предоставили два бесплатных завтрака.

The staff was great, The room size is ok but the bathroom is not good because when you showered the water will splash out and almost flow out from the bathroom. Air conditioning is not working during my staying and it’s summer!🥵

An amazing stay as always the staff here always go above and beyond for you needed slightly larger room due to my partner on crutches and they even put us in a room we was in before! Such clean facilities me and my partner felt really comfortable safe and happy here will stay again! Comfy pillows, bed, lovely bathroom shower and bath, toiletries on wall are very nice smelling, we will be back on Thursday to stay! :)

This hotal was lovely we had to do a late check in after 9 clock as we got hear late but the staff service was fantastic very helpful and very polite would definitely stay hear again breakfast was a buffet breakfast help your self the only thing they didt have was fried eggs but they had scrambled egg thy had tea coffee hot chocolate machine and also help your self to apple juice orange juice lots of staff around clear area were people had been ready for other people to sit as have breakfast area was nice clear room was clear and tidy nice shower and toilet room beds comfortable had a family room with a double bed and a sofa bed .

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast - bacon beautifully cooked. Hotel bathroom needs renovation - washbasin crazed. One of the reading lights over the bed was broken off.

Good location close to M42, free parking onsite, easy access to reception check in was straightforward lifts to all floors and the room was perfect clean and warm. self service for buffet breakfast good variety for every taste. would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Established in 1879, this hotel is indeed the Grand Birmingham Hotel! It oozes classiness throughout. Our room was spacious but looking at the floor plan, that seems to be the standard! Bathrobes provided though not slippers. The shower has a door instead of the useless walk in panels that never work! No useless espresso cups but proper world map mugs for our coffees and tea in-room. Two comfortable arm chairs and the bed… The bed was a dream and I’m hoping to source the exact mattress topper and duvet! Perfect for me as a smoker, the hotel has an exclusive courtyard terrace on the first floor offering complimentary self service coffee. There are two adjacent restaurants to the hotel that uphold a dress code ensuring the premises is classy throughout. Beyond the hotel doors there’s plenty other eateries as the hotel is bang in the centre right by the Birmingham Cathedral: again perfect for our following Palm Sunday. The only thing I don’t understand is why the hotel entrance is not bigger and grander than it deserves.
