Arrived early - 40 minutes - asked if possible to check in. Told to wait ten minutes and then told ok. Went to room and not ready. Housekeeping not aware but did say they'd do our room quickly. No problem. Just wanted to use loo and would come back later. Returned much later. Room ready and clean. Bedroom bin had not been emptied. Very noisy from traffic through the night. Pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast pretty poor. Hot offering sparse and cold. Continental limited. Staff were very pleasant which was lovely and probably made up for the shortcomings. Would choose somewhere quieter, ideally.

Came a long way to stay for couple of days for a wedding. Big reunion w some friends from around the globe.
Pros:
Hotel is at the great location. Lots of food option at Touchwood Mall opposite the hotel. Hotel food are quite reasonable too.
Staffs at the lounge & breakfast are Fantastic. They are friendly and helpful.
Rooms are spacious and bed are comfy.
Cons:
Reception should be better. We were attended by Josh during check in and he is not friendly and helpful when few enquiry asked.
A friend of mine (a couple) was assigned to a room which AC wasn’t working. And when asked for a room changed, he said its not available. He mentioned that it was an ongoing problem and offered them a fan instead. How is that possible they are still selling a dysfunctional room to a guest when they know its an issue! But if they want an upgrade, they can but they have to pay £13!! I think its bizarre!
My friends was stucked to the same room till the end of her stay w a FAN!
Overall I am happy with the stay but i need to rant about the room assignment. Its common sense.

Best swimming pool in Conventry, extra £5 per day per visitor, so I didn’t join. Self-check in, no service. Pub and Starbucks downstairs, Friday 4pm onwards free car park until Sunday. Weekday parking fee applies.

Overall experience was good, I have been a few times but the room we was in wasn’t the best the WiFi was weak so we had to connect to our phone data and the shower curtains were dirty definitely needed replacing.

The hotel was fine - Staff at breakfast and in the bar were really lovely. However we were charged twice for this booking. I prepaid through the trip app but my brother arrived first at the hotel and he was charged again. Only by accident did we realise this and said it at the reservations desk. They could not help saying that I would probably get a refund for one of the payments but this has not happened. Have now sent an email to the oops manager so hopefully it won’t be long before we get one of the payments back.

Located on part of the Birmingham University campus in Edgbaston so good location for academic conferences / visiting the university, also short distance to dental hospital, cricket ground, tennis centre etc. Plenty of free parking including blue badge and EV charging. Check-in was quick and efficient. Angela, who checked us in, was friendly and helpful. There is a large bar which serves smaller meals throughout the day and also a restaurant in the evening. The bar food was average price for hotel food (£12+ for sandwich with some soup) and average quality. Room was clean and tidy, with modern decor. It was very spacious and well equipped with seating and table, ironing board, plenty of pillows, pod coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods, tea bags etc. Black out blinds worked well and there was minimal noise from other rooms / corridor. Would definitely stay again if in the Edgebaston / Birmingham area.

Hotel is in a great position at the top of Broad Street, greeted with a smile at reception and the room was ready early which was a bonus.
The twin room was on the 15th floor with great views over Edgbaston. The only fault was the bathroom door was very heavy and wouldn’t close. This was reported and reception did offer to move us but we had already unpacked.
The biggest disappointment was breakfast - we saw photo in the lift and it looked great especially as my daughter is dairy free. However there were no blueberries or raspberries or strawberries or blackberries and when we pointed this out the lady behind reception said it was a case of false advertising - nothing was offered as compensation so all in all very disappointed.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast - bacon beautifully cooked. Hotel bathroom needs renovation - washbasin crazed. One of the reading lights over the bed was broken off.

JJeff & LynLovely overnight stay.
Hotel was really busy with a large party but the staff looked after us really well.
Not a reflection on the hotel but they booked a taxi to pick us up and the taxi firm were totally useless. Having waited twenty minutes past the scheduled time, we called an Uber which was there in five minutes.
Overall, this is a great hotel which we have stayed at previously and will do so again.

Потому что самый верхний этаж этого отеля — 7-й,
Мне лучше остановиться на 5-м этаже.
Потому что, когда официант впервые забронировал мне номер,
Номер комнаты 711 на 7-м этаже, и это последний номер.
Когда вы войдете в номер 711 на 7-м этаже,
Вы увидите, что там очень грязно и сильно пахнет курением.
Я не сделал фото тогда, поэтому сразу сообщил об этом.
Когда я купил отель,
Я написал в комментариях: «Не хочу угловой номер».
Я пришел заселяться в 4 часа.
Почему мне пришлось выбрать последний номер? Когда я пожаловался персоналу,
персонал сразу же переместил номер на 5-й этаж, расположенный рядом с лестницей,
на фото ниже.
Там номер чище и нет запаха дыма. Думаю, он мне подходит.
Завтрак в отеле очень сытный.
Когда я заказал, мне предоставили два бесплатных завтрака.

NNSEJOKERAn amazing stay as always the staff here always go above and beyond for you needed slightly larger room due to my partner on crutches and they even put us in a room we was in before! Such clean facilities me and my partner felt really comfortable safe and happy here will stay again! Comfy pillows, bed, lovely bathroom shower and bath, toiletries on wall are very nice smelling, we will be back on Thursday to stay! :)

ГГостьThis hotal was lovely we had to do a late check in after 9 clock as we got hear late but the staff service was fantastic very helpful and very polite would definitely stay hear again breakfast was a buffet breakfast help your self the only thing they didt have was fried eggs but they had scrambled egg thy had tea coffee hot chocolate machine and also help your self to apple juice orange juice lots of staff around clear area were people had been ready for other people to sit as have breakfast area was nice clear room was clear and tidy nice shower and toilet room beds comfortable had a family room with a double bed and a sofa bed .
