Округ Бежа, Португалия: отели, где есть С баром

We kwamen aan bij dit hotel en het bleek dat we 800 meter over een onverharde zeer smalle weg moesten rijden, waarbij we ook nog een dam over moesten (nog smaller). Dat leek ons geen goed idee. We zijn vervolgens naar het Duna parc Hotel gereden in Mila Nova de Milfontes en hebben gevraagd of we een ander hotel konden krijgen. Dit was geen enkel probleem. Met een kwartier stonden we voor ons nieuwe hotel van dezelfde organisatie. We hadden een zeer ruime slaapkamer met badkamer en daarvoor een keuken/woonkamer. Alles was glanzend schoon en verzorgd. De ontbijtjes kregen we (vanwege de tijd van het jaar) in het ”grote” hotel op loopafstand van onze locatie. Ook daar ruime keuze aan producten. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf.

The hotel is brand new, with beautiful rooms, a lobby lounge, a nice gym and small rooftop pool, restaurant, etc. I really enjoyed my stay, this is the perfect base for exploring Beja and its surroundings. Special kudos to Matheus at the front desk for his kindness and exquisite service!

Location is good if you travel by car because of free parking and it's 15-20 min walking to the town center (3-5 min by car). The room was quite big and in pretty good conditions. But there weren't some amenities you expect in a 4 star hotel like slippers, bathrobe or kettle/coffeemaker. Bed and pillows were good. Buffet breakfast was typical (cheeses, hams, eggs, cereals, pastries, fruits) except for lack of vegetables. If you don't want to have an unexpected visit of a housemaid at 9-10 o'clock in the morning (without _any_ warnings like knocking on door or questions) use ”do not disturb” sign!

Nichts zu meckern. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück für Portugal auch ok. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Sehr günstige Angebote für Massagen. Diese konnten wir aber leider zeitlich nicht nutzen. Wir kommen jedenfalls gerne wieder

A lovely hotel in a great location. The rooms and building retain character as I believe it used to be a convent. The location is ideal to visit the castle and town with numerous places to eat and drink, private parking to the rear is a bonus. All staff are very helpful and will definitely stay here again,

Awesome location, in the middle of beautiful nature & next to a big river The people working there are very kind & make you really feel at home Also meeting the donkey Benni & the sheep was lots of fun
