I don’t mind paying for another day if I arrive early but I couldn’t understand why they lied to me. I came to the hotel at 3:30 in the morning of the day I booked for check-in. I was told to pay in full and didn’t get a breakfast. The guy at the front desk said I should come downstairs to check in again at 12:00 for another room because they didn’t have the type of none smoking room I booked. It was all fine. You didn’t allow me spend several hours in the sofa in the lobby “because we are are five star hotel!”(although during the coming several days I have seen people including myself and my colleagues staying in the sofas all the time without paying for any coffee or snacks). The pain I had is they told me to wait until 3pm for changing rooms. I called the front desk several times and in the end called back to China to talk to Ctrip. The guy who changed me full day for less than 7 hours stay has seen my Ctrip booking in my cellphone. The lady at front counter told me they didn’t know I had another booking! Don’t understand what system they were using to manage the hotel. Eventually I carried my luggage out to lunch and then got my other room at 1:30pm. Regarding hardware I want to complain about the bench in front of the bed. It was a hard and heavy thing that would break your knees if you hit it during the night if you go t bathroom or come back for sleep. Couldn’t understand why in such a small room they want to squeeze everything in. The lattice for salad in breakfast had sands. Maybe I was unlucky? Anyway as a guy who stays in five stars all the time I would not come back to this hotel in the future.

Отель очень большой, и обслуживание очень внимательное. Зарубежная гостиничная индустрия действительно хороша с точки зрения сервиса. Это не очень близко к аэропорту, но аэропорт Даммама фактически находится в пригороде. Отель не является частью центра города.

It was a wonderful two nights to stay here because atmosphere was a great and beautiful building. I highly recommend it to stay here.

Номер был забронирован для некурящих, но, к сожалению, им дали номер для курящих. Диван также был сломан. Мы обратились на ресепшен, и нам поменяли номер. Мебель старая.

Famous and Classic hotel for many years. not a big hotel but quite good facilities.
