This hotel is historic and its in the heart of Annapolis which makes things easier for not needing your vehicle locally. It does take 20-30 min for the valet to retrieve your vehicle so plan ahead. I gave it an average for location because they have 3 buildings yet you wont know which you will be in. 1 queen beed room in the Maryland Inn building is small so be prepared. Also its an old building so you can hear the pipes and people in the halls. Also its near the street so you hear the drunk people outside. There is a bar/restaurant attached to the Maryland Inn building. The room has a TV and a mini fridge. The room is so small that the temp controlled by a single machine so it goes off every 5 min or so making the room extremely cold or hot. All in all I give this hotel a 3.5/5 . Staff was great. Everything was great! ”Peaches” was our check in girl and she was so sweet and kind. Above and beyond welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable except the beds are a little bit firm. Staff were knowledgable with every question we asked throughout our stay. The walk to the beach is quicker then it takes the red light to change. On check out day we asked if it would be ok if we left the car in the parking lot and hang out at the pool for a few hours before heading home, and they were perfectly cool with that. the roof top pool is so nice with a bar and constant breeze. We reserve a ”Bay front” room, but we unexpectedly had a really nice view of the bay from our room. These are the reasons I've been coming back the Princess Bayside for years.

This was a great location without being on the boardwalk, but close enough to everything. The staff was friendly, and the room was very nice and clean. Rooms have been renovated and new furniture and was very nice. The pool area needs a lot of updating. It’s faded, broken tiles on the pool, and they have a broken splash pad that has not worked for who knows how long. The free breakfast was adequate, however the area for guests to eat was very small and for some reason had an insane amount of flies all over which mad eating not great. Overall, I’d give this hotel a 6.5.

Service was pretty good in the updated facilities. The check in lady was friendly and did her best to get me in my room as soon as possible. The room was upgraded, new flooring, furniture, and bathroom facilities. The floors were a little dusty. The floors are no longer carpeted, they have some type of laminate flooring. Maybe cleaning staff is not used to maintaining this type of flooring yet. the door to the room was off center. There were large gaps around the door which allowed lots of light from the hallway to penetrate the room when it is dark.

Had a nice trip ....only downside was the pool...the strong smell of chlorine is unbearable..

This was our first time staying at Hampton Suites in Ocean City. The desk clerks( Alyssa,Jennifer and Danielle) were so nice and friendly. The checkin and checkout process was fast and easy. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning. The indoor pool and hot tub were a nice amenity. The pet friendly option was great as well.Would highly recommend this place..didn't disappoint!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was wonderful and the service was great. Everyone was helpful and nice. We didn't eat any food there, but I'm sure it is good. Thank you for a great stay. We will definitely include this on our list of places to stay in Ocean City, MD.

Although I had a bad experience with my reservation with Ashore, trip.com rectified the situation and the customer service was top notch, even though they were not at fault. I definitely would book from trip.com again.
