I’ve been coming to Hotel Zero 1 for a few years, being the only hotel I book in Montreal due to its impeccable walkability. That being said, it’s unfortunate that it’s no longer shiny and new, you can really see the wear and tear over the years. If you want luxury you’re not going to find it here; however, it’s still a great place to stay for the action packed traveller who wants somewhere a bit nicer than a motel to stay. I booked knowing full well it wasn’t going to be the most amazing stay but it was not as bad as some of the Google reviews make it out to be- it’s just dated. The room was clean, check in and check out was easy, and even though the valet service is closed, the parkade they directed us to was safe and straightforward. I’d categorize this hotel as 3 stars as the amenities aren’t that great, but just know what you’re walking into, manage your expectations to that, and you will have a great stay. It’s just kind of a shame to see a hotel that I have great memories in not keep up with maintaining the property. If they repaired the fabric on the bed, replaced the shower heads and updated with smart TVs, that would make a world of difference. TLDR; Pros: clean linens, cable tv, microwave and fridge in the room Cons: dated technology, broken Roku, only one elevator for the whole building, no on site parking.

Great location, close to some very good restaurants and a block away from Old Montreal, and close to Metro stations. The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. It does have a laundry facility, which is nice, but the breakfasts are really substandard, considering the cost. Selecting breakfasts increases the room cost significantly, or you could pay $27 per person for the breakfast. It was standard hotel breakfast buffet - you could get twice the quality for half the price elsewhere. And parking is $28 per day, or portion of a day.

Samesun — хороший бюджетный хостел, который я очень удобно расположил в Монреале. Хостел, как правило, привлекает более молодую публику, но всё же средний возраст гостей — 18-35 лет, и бар на территории довольно популярен. Включённый завтрак, на удивление, очень неплох: бублики, вафли, кофе, сок, хлопья и маффины. Завтрак подается, кажется, с 7:30 до 22:00, но я всегда старался приходить пораньше, так как был волонтёром на Монреальском фестивале комиксов и хотел хорошо позавтракать перед началом дня. Хостел, хоть и находится недалеко от основных достопримечательностей, всё же находится в довольно неблагополучном районе города, и по ночам там могут бродить бездомные, но большинство из них относительно безобидны. Здание старое, но кровати хорошие, и я, как человек высокого роста, всё равно мог спокойно спать на кроватях. Я жил в смешанном номере, и единственной претензией было отсутствие туалета и то, что полотенце при заселении не выдают просто так, а нужно просить или приносить своё. Рядом с кухней есть ещё один туалет с душем, что очень удобно, если туалет в номере занят. Кажется, во вторую ночь кто-то, убираясь в номере, выключил кондиционер, но было легко разобраться, как его включить, и когда он включился, номера стали комфортнее. Без него, правда, душно и жарко. Мне очень понравилось и понравилось наличие камеры хранения багажа, так как мне нужно было выезжать в 15:00, а мой Megabus прибывал только в 12:30... но я смог оставить багаж примерно до 22:00, а затем забрать его и уехать. Хотя в этом хостеле нет джакузи и всех этих излишеств, как в других, если вам нужен только хороший номер и приличный завтрак, это место более чем вам подходит.

It’s a good hotel to stay

Stayed for one night with family to see Mont Tremblant. Great location, booked a room with two beds and the room has a pull out sofa bed so really recommend it. Parking is $22/night if you are bringing car. Breakfast is nice with your average continental breakfast. Room is clean and organized with a nice view outside. The hotel is overall a bit old but not a major issue.

There are many positives about this long term stay hotel. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The hot buffet (included with the price of the overnight stay)is absolutely amazing, just that alone is worth staying there. Toasts, bagels, muffins, cereals, hot porridge, cheese omelette, plain omelette, boiled egg, sausages, bacon, … and a “make your own” waffle station with sauces, whipped cream and different toppings!!! The coffee and tea or hot water is available in the lobby 24/7! Inside my studio suite, there is a full kitchen with dishwasher, full size fridge and you can borrow an electric induction plate for cooking. The room is big, with a curtain dividing the sofa bed and the king size bed. There are two layers of blinds to ensure complete darkness when sleeping. The only negative thing was that my hotel room was facing the main road and so there were cars going by every 3-5 mins in the middle of the night, and I heard all the cars that went by, even at 1:00am or 3:00am while I was trying to sleep!!! The next day, I asked for ear plugs from the reception and slept so much better! I should have asked for them when I checked in.  The water temperature of the indoor saltwater pool is not too cold, but not warm. I had a good swim. This hotel is less than two years old, so everything is new, clean and bright. Lots of families with young children stayed there on the weekend I was there. A special thank you to the friendly staff especially the one who assisted me with my luggages.

Расположение отеля удобное, добраться куда угодно не составит труда. Персонал приветливый и вежливый. Внутри отеля чисто, но лифт приходится ждать долго.

I love this hotel. They have warm chocolate cookies, free hot spa and sauna. The bed is comfy and I had a really good sleep. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. I will definitely write a formal complaint. I was at the shower - the shower gel and shampoo were both empty. Obviously they didn’t refill the bottle. That’s fine. I called the counter and asked them to bring me new bottles. They rejected and asked me to go down. Ok that’s fine. I asked my friend to go down. He came back and said someone would come to change the bottles soon. Sure. I stood in the shower room for 10 minutes and no one came. Ok maybe they needed more time. I came out of the shower and sat down on the bed. Another 10 minutes. So I asked my friend to find someone. He was told that someone would come again. Another 10 minutes. A man came and gave me a bottle of shampoo and body lotion???? My friend went out again and finally got me some shower gel in a cup. It took more than 30 minutes and I just stood there. After shower, I got to do the skincare routine, dry my long hair and so on. Eventually, I went to check out. I was late of course. The lady asked me to pay for late fee. I was like ???????????????????? Explained and she agreed to waive the fee. Everything was perfect until the empty da** bottles. I am late for my lunch reservation now and I am missing some attractions for sure.

這次是訂了三個房間，一大幫朋友一起去旅遊，我是挺滿意的。

Комната чистая, есть бесплатный завтрак. Из-за особых причин не было своевременного пребывания в отеле Trip.com. Он помог координировать. Позже изменил время пребывания. Большое спасибо Trip.com за уход, отправленный на другой стороне Земли 🌍 👍 Также спасибо отелю 🏨
