This is an amazing historic hotel, it's a beautiful castle on a huge lot. Parking is convenient, and the view is stunning. It's also right next to the Blair Athols distillery, so perfect place to stay if you're visiting the distillery and want to spend some time in the nearby area. The small town is also very accessible from this hotel. The only issue is it's a very old hotel, so the facilities are not the best, and the renovation is very dated. The other thing is the service is not the best, the waitress doesn't really want to serve customers. Be ready for a little frustration due to that. Otherwise it's a great place to enjoy a weekend.

This venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .

The hotel promotes itself as Dog friendly but it only accommodated dogs in the annex bedroom. Dogs are not allowed in any part of the main hotel reception, dining area etc so it’s not really a dog friendly hotel. As owners our movements were restricted as it wasn’t appropriate to leave our dog in an unfamiliar location unsupervised as he became very distressed. Dog friendly hotels usually allow owners to bring dogs into reception areas and dining areas. If I knew this was not possible I would never have booked. On a positive note the young man Rory working in the dining room gave a great standard of service, listened to our concerns and couldn’t be anymore attentive. It is important to highlight this and obvious how hard he was working whilst we where there😀 please note the photo uploaded was taken in another local dog friendly hotel ‘Mckays’ which did actually allow dogs in the bar and communal areas as it should be.

A lovely hotel in a quiet setting. Bar service was a bit slow but available most times during the day. Food service was ok. Breakfast was good… wide variety… although fruit could have been fresher, ( apple was brown). Dinner at night was ok. Entertainer was good, enjoyed his music and cheerfulness. Difficult to get a taxi on the day we left and was pouring with rain. Staff were really helpful and took us to the train for which we were really grateful! I suggest booking a cab the day before. Our room was comfortable and a good size. However the bathroom window curtains need attention. A shower curtain pinned up with press studs wasn’t appropriate for security and privacy! We would stay again.

不愧是被評價為“the best B&B”，我們晚上從inverness開車過去，店主會通過攜程問我們達到時間。等我們到了，店主已經在等了。 小房子很可愛，有個小停車場，可以停8台車吧。一切都安排的很好，房間很大，很乾凈。晚上有個房間的早餐清單，需要用記號勾選想吃的東西，放在門口的桌子上就可以了。另外還有一份勾選早餐想幾點吃的表格。店主晚上會收走，第二天按照兩份表格準備早餐。 9月最後一天，竟然開了暖氣，本來還想説太誇張了，結果睡到半夜發現暖氣真的很必要😂 店家早上提供早餐的時候會稍微聊下，問我們要去哪裡，然後很貼心的告訴我們怎麼走。可以把車和行李先放在這裏，走路去blair atholl distillery那大概一公里，路上風景很美。 Great room& excellent service

Хорошо расположенный отель просто 2-3 мин. прогулка от станции Питлочары выход в отель обратной ворота 👍🏻. Сотрудники дружелюбны, полезны и хорошо информированы в предоставлении/рекомендовании мест интересов. Завтрак должен быть, довольно хорошо с традиционным обеденным районом.  Комната чистая, хорошо обслуживаемая и пространная (комната с садом). Дом и Фиш-лестница всего в 20 минутах ходьбы от отеля. По прибытии нас тепло встретили, угостили бесплатными напитками и проводили в наш великолепный номер. Персонал был невероятно любезным и дружелюбным. Дополнительные услуги и внимание к деталям были изысканными, и, на мой взгляд, отель заслуживает 5-звёздочного уровня. Всё, от еды и напитков до обстановки, было просто великолепно. И не беспокойтесь о резиновых сапогах — их можно взять вместе с сухими халатами. Определённо рекомендую всем, кто планирует остановиться здесь, и обязательно вернусь.

Unglaublich freundlich. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Öffentlicher Parkplatz keine 3 Min Fußweg entfernt. Über Nacht auch kostenfrei. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und hat dadurch auch einen gewissen Charme. Leider etwas hellhörig, bei dem Preis aber auch ok.

The double bed was a pathetic mattress. In this day and she comfortable beds are basic. The lamp shade was broken in our lodge and the carpets need replaced. Room 501 living room Has a strong bad doggy type smell. We couldn’t relax in the living room. It was either from the rugs or sofas. These lodges are tired and need updated. The bathrooms are dingy. The bedrooms are dark with poor lighting. Not good!
