The room was spacious and comfy beds. It comes with free breakfast, which is good. Breakfast was alright, the same food every morning. The only thing that lets us down is one of the staff in the restaurant. We sat there for ages waiting to be served. Because he won't be serving us not until 8pm. So we've waited patiently, because we have just arrived that night and was very hungry. This man was serving other people, but not us. So my husband and I were wondering what's going on. So my husband went to the till and queued up. But when it's my husband's turn, he asked, ”Who's next?? Obviously, my husband was in front of him. Then, when my husband asked if we could order now, he looked at him and me and saying ”Oh, just wait to your table, and I will get your order from there. . Maybe because I am the only Asian there. I feel like there's a bit of ****** to be honest. We went back to our table and waited to be served again. But he didn't turn up and served the next table beside and served some other customer who came after us. I was so mad and upset. But I don't want cause a scene. So we we just went out and looked for another restaurant outside the hotel. We're so disappointed, and we didn't expect to be treated like that. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I just forgot his name. But the one at the restaurant is not nice at all. He ruined our family holiday. We won't be coming back anymore there.

У нас был номер на втором этаже с видом на собор (мы могли слышать колокола!), выходящий на дорогу снаружи. Движение ночью стихало и не мешало нам спать, и в целом в отеле было тихо. Номер был хорошо убран, но были небольшие оплошности: например, на передней части стола и ручке кофеварки были видны исторические проливы; на окне (с современным дополнительным стеклом для создания двойного остекления) были отпечатки лбов и носов других гостей (мы сами обнаружили, как легко поддаться очарованию вида, наклониться вперед и забыть, что там есть окно...), но ванная комната, кровать и полы были абсолютно гигиеничными, и мы, тем не менее, чувствовали себя комфортно. Персонал был милым, гостеприимным и услужливым. В целом, нам очень понравилось наше пребывание!

From entering the Hotel till check out it was a very pleasant experience. The standards are excellent, my room was so comfortable and the sport complex just fabulous.

Amazing hotel, perfect location for shopping at the Metro Centre. Fantastic breakfast with good quality ingredients. Also a steam room and swimming pool. The price was really cheap, considering everything on offer. Highly recommended for a short stay.

The hotrl is beautiful and the workers are nice, but the sheets and bed covers are not quite clean.

Location was perfect for our needs, near to beautiful Yarm! The amenities were good and a dip in the pool was perfect after a hot day! Overall cleanliness was good, just needed a few touch up here and there, tiles missing in spa area a Nd our bathroom looked tired! Disappointed that there was no compensation for broken key card machine and we found this unnerving as it felt very ‘big brother’ being tracked on our every move! A drink at dinner, complimentary breakfasts or bar meal would have been a nice gesture!
