The resort is extremely well maintained and clean. However if you got to breakfast later say 9am the food was depleted.  The staff were nice but a matter of fact and some of the hotel policies like you must wear a swimming cap were ignored by all of the other guests.  The pool was amazing and clean and couldn’t fault it at all.  The food at dinner time was good but inconsistent in serving sizes particularly if you ordered the same thing the following day.  I think this is a nice resort but expensive for what you get.  The last thing I would say is that the entrance to the beach is not easy given that there are huge boulders in place and we found that we would walk through other hotel properties when we wanted a dip.

Прекрасный отель в старинном стиле с отличным расположением. Примерно в 10 минутах ходьбы от железнодорожного вокзала. Мы приехали рано утром, и на стойке регистрации нам любезно предложили напиток и даже повысили категорию номера до двух с видом на море, что действительно сделало наше пребывание незабываемым. Весь персонал на стойке регистрации был очень любезным. Номера были чистыми и удобными, и у нас даже был небольшой холодильник. Мы ужинали в ресторане отеля. Из ресторана открывается вид на море. Еда была довольно вкусной, особенно блюдо из морепродуктов, которое выбрал один из нас. Завтрак тоже очень хороший, с большим выбором блюд. (Хотя там нет английских чайных пакетиков для завтрака.) Остановились бы здесь снова без колебаний, если бы вернулись в Баньяра-Калабру.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Rocca della Sena. The view from the terrace was incredible and was such a lovely place to be able to sit during sunset. Breakfast was very good and there were lots of options to choose from, including fresh nduja which is local to the area. The staff were probably the best part of the stay, though. They were so kind and generous with their time, always asking if they could provide recommendations for dinner or activities in the area, and made us feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tropea. We honestly have no negative feedback to provide!

If you choose this location, please be aware that you need a car in order to travel around. The Spa is not open, they don't let you know anywhere. It is prety far away from public transport and from any other location, if you come without a car you must be prepared to pay for Uber and taxi. In the rest the room are at a 4 star hotel level, and the brekfast is ok . Also please be aware that the restaurants nearby are open mostly for dinner and look before if they are open

Номер был большой. Однако кран был сломан. Телефон был пыльным. Постельное бельё не было белым, поэтому сложно было сказать, чистое ли оно. Сантехника была старой, а Wi-Fi слабым. Но расположение было превосходным: прямо у моря, очень близко к паромному терминалу, и это было идеальное место для фотосъёмки. У персонала были некоторые трудности с английским. Когда мы уходили, два администратора были очень любезны, терпеливо объяснили дорогу к паромному терминалу и помогли нам купить билеты на телефон. Другой администратор даже распечатал для нас расписание паромов. Мы были очень тронуты.

We stayed here to be close to the SUF airport. This hotel has so much character and old world charm. The grounds are immaculate. The staff was amazing and helpful. The restaurant was great with fresh fish specialties. Comfortable bed, great shower. Great overall stay.

Beautiful place on the hill side. Bruno was very helpful with any questions and helping us to organize taxis. The place was nicely stocked with essentials. I plus there is a good coffee bar and pastries down stairs.

Cross the road is the private beach very nice to relax. Easy to park. The most important thing is the staffs are all very helpful and friendly. The food is nice and we enjoyed our experience very well.

Very good hotel, clean comfortable and big room! Breakfast choises so poor! for example: only toast slices for bread, only two types of eggs, no orange juice....
