When we arrived we proceeded to stand in line behind the ONLY other person in the check in line and that was also standing behind the lady checking in, in front of the ONLY person sitting at the check in desk. After a few minutes another man walked up behind us. The lady in front of us was called to the desk and then another lady walked up into the entrance on the other side of us. I was next but instead of calling me up she asked if I was VIP. I wasn't so she told me that I was in the VIP line and had to wait until the lady that had JUST walked up was finished before she could take me..... WAIT - WHAT??? There were NO SIGNS stating this line is for the people who are more important, the guy behind us even asked where was the sign stating that this was a VIP line. We asked for a manager, but she also dismissed the situation and said that she knows that the lines are not marked (so somehow we are supposed to know) and she was SORRY that it was a mix up. All of a sudden it was important that there be more than 1 person sitting at the desk. Neither of the two photos say VIP.

If you're seeing a show, this is the best choice for an overnight or weekend stay! There's so many food choices. The pool area is so nice. Really enjoyed my stay and the concert!!

We stayed at Spark by Hilton in Jackson, Mississippi. The front desk was nice and the hotel was clean. No microwave in the room, but other than that, everything was good in my opinion.

The hotel is nicely situated in Fondren, a nice neighbourhood in north Jackson. The suite was nicely appointed, though our shampoo dispenser was empty. The gym is fantastic. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was adequate, though complimentary.

ГГостьThe grounds and exterior of the White House hotel is wonderful. However, other features of this hotel leave something to be desired. Firstly, if you're looking for a place to unwind by the pool with a great ocean view, you're in luck, but unfortunately the pool is not heated. The dining room was unavailable due to ”construction” or ”remodeling,” so any food ordered (which was good) either had to be room-service or eaten at the bar. I stayed in a standard room with a king bed, which was not very comfortable. The vanity light in the bathroom was only half lit, making shaving difficult. The TV in the room was old and the back light seemed to be going out. There was a small 3 drawer dresser for clothing, but other than that, really nothing other than the nightstands to set things on (but there was a very small bistro table for the coffee maker. And the most frustrating part, the AC unit either made the room VERY cold or VERY warm. The uncomfortable bed, with thin covers and a bipolar HVAC made getting good rest impossible. For the same price or less, I could have stayed at one of the casinos with better amenities and more comfortable rooms.

ГГостьOverall the stay was OK… the bed was comfortable, the carpet r need to be vacuum and shampooed, the bathroom floor needed to be cleaned..Make sure you have slides to wear while you’re in the room… the breakfast was better than other places I have stayed…the weekday front desk staff much nice and friendly than the weekend staff besides the young lady who was there Monday Morning 5/12/25 not so nice .

ГГостьThe hotel was in a great location. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping places. The young man that checked us in was very pleasant and friendly. I did not eat at the hotel because the breakfast was very pricey, and I travelled with several people so I couldn't afford to pay that price for everyone. I have always stayed at Holiday Inn and never had to pay for breakfast. The room was nice but the person in the room either in front of me or behind smoked all night. I coughed and sneezed because of the cigarette smoking. I tried to cover my head, lay on the other end of the bed but it didn't help. I left with a very sore throat. When checking out the young lady at the front desk was not so friendly, she was working on something on the computer and kept her head down for a long time before she finally asked could she assist me. She never asked me about my stay. I had questions about my bills that was not explained before I booked the hotel, she did explain to me the various charges although, I totally disagreed with them.

JJerrica JMy mom and I stayed here for a concert that was 30 minutes away. We arrived late Friday evening and was gone all day Saturday. When we got back Saturday night at midnight, it was really hot in the room, so I contacted the front desk and told her I didn’t think the air was working. She told “maintenance”. I heard him ask why were we just now calling. He came in asked if we touched the unit and then left and came back with a shop vac and vacuumed it out and said it would be good to go and said 74 is a perfect temperature. It indeed did not work so I told them again and this time the “maintenance man” was now the “manager”. I asked if we could change rooms. They said they didn’t have any more double rooms. Finally after 30 minutes-1 hour they finally gave me a single room. I didn’t get reimbursed for a double for that night. I will most likely not stay here again. The “maintenance man” or “manager” whatever he was, was very rude.

ГГостьSomewhat disappointed. We understood that the check in time was at 4pm. However , upon arrival, our room was not ready and we had to wait over an hour for our room. There were a lot of us waiting. Somehow they did not have enough housekeeping staff to clean the rooms that were obviously vacated at 11am as I understood, that was the check out time. As we finally got our room at the 5th floor, we came upon multiple available rooms that were available that needed cleaning. We presumed they needed cleaning because the doors were left open. We actually took a peek inside. I should say, I should give them credit. They gave us free dinner or breakfast. We really were not able to take advantage of the dinner offer since after checking into our room, we rushed to gamble at Beau Rivage. Our breakfast actually came with our booking.

ГГостьFront desk staff for dayshift is always friendly and so helpful. Unfortunately, mid-shift only has one staff member working the desk and they were not available for 20-25 minutes upon arrival due to helping other customers upstairs. The room was clean, but the sink was slow draining and almost overflowing. Front desk did make maintenance aware so it would be fixed for the next customers who occupy that room. There was quite a bit of dust on the access panel to the tub right beside the toilet. Most disappointing is that the printer in the lobby/lounge area doesn’t work and I needed to print documents for a training I was attending. Overall I will stay here again, mostly because of the staffs cheerful disposition and willingness to assure my stay is the best.
