We had an incredible stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort in Banff. From the moment we checked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable. The property itself feels tucked away in the trees, offering peace and quiet while still being just a few minutes from downtown Banff. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a rustic mountain vibe that fit perfectly with the surroundings. I especially loved the fireplace—it made evenings feel warm and relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, which was a nice bonus for preparing meals. The views from the resort are stunning. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and seeing the Rockies right outside my window was unforgettable. On-site amenities like the hot tub and pool added to the experience, especially after long hikes. What stood out most was the balance between comfort and nature. It felt like having a private cabin in the mountains but with all the convenience of a resort. I’d highly recommend Tunnel Mountain Resort for couples, families, or anyone wanting a true Banff escape. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, comfort, and breathtaking scenery—I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Very clean room with comfortable king bed with a rustic wood bed frame, fireplace and jacuzzi tub, bathroom had newer shower/tub with good water pressure, sink area could use an update. No A/C but room was cool enough with overhead fan and open window at night; room had 2 additional fans that we did not need to use. Nicely decorated with lots of lamps. Coffee and tea service in room (with actual tea cups/teapot and tea cookies!), as well as microwave and bar fridge. Location convenient for walking anywhere in town, ample parking right in front of lodge and also available across the street at Kilmorey Lodge. No restaurant onsite but close to many dining options, 10% off coupon for breakfast at Kilmorey Lodge, but breakfast was underwhelming. Exterior could use updating, deck area and steps in rough shape, fortunately our room was cozy and comfortable. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay! The staff were incredibly nice and always made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect—within walking distance of Lake Louise, which saved us from paying for expensive parking. It’s also close to stunning trails, yet quiet and peaceful. Plus, it’s conveniently near a grocery store, restaurants, and a café. I would definitely recommend this place!

В остальном, отличный номер (я жил в уютном номере), очень чистый, кровать большая и удобная. Бесплатные полотенца и туалетные принадлежности. На кухне достаточно посуды. В хостеле есть гостиная и комната с камином, так что места для отдыха предостаточно. Персонал также приветливый и быстро отвечает – просто напишите им или позвоните. Хорошие цены и простая процедура регистрации. Обязательно забронирую снова!

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a deluxe cabin with our 3 year old . There was an on site park but unfortunately the pool and spa hot tub was closed for our stay. There games room was open and had plenty to offer and the community room with free hot drinks. The cabin itself was great with everything you need for self catering. The bed was super comfy. We used both the fire pit for s’mores and the bbq for cooking. Beware of mosquitos - we had to buy spray. Great stay. Would return
