SStanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner. I didn’t and still don’t have an eSIM that can make local call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free. I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands. I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.
I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop to Suzhou which was my next destination.
This operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.
After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge . If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass. Do check with the owner for up to date information.
The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.
Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. . There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy. It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances.
The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.
This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.
I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.

Во-первых, девушки на стойке регистрации просто замечательные. Они очень любезны и гостеприимны. Они помогли нам с сыном забронировать билеты на специальный танцевальный спектакль «Гроза» Цао Юя – настоящее удовольствие для гостей! Традиционные завтраки, которые подаются каждое утро, тоже были вкусными и стали прекрасным началом дня.
Во-вторых, владелец отеля тоже исключительный – он приложил все усилия, чтобы отвезти нас на вокзал рано утром.
В-третьих, расположение отеля просто великолепное – в пешей доступности от Лаоменьдуна. В Нанкине нет лучшего места, чем это место, настолько удобное и в то же время оживлённое. Столько мест, где можно поесть, и достопримечательностей (в пешей доступности от Храма Конфуция).
В-четвёртых, как сам отель, так и его расположение в новом жилом комплексе рядом с Лаоменьдуном, очень расслабляющие, тихие и со вкусом оформленные в традиционном китайском стиле.
Сам Нанкин – очень важный город с богатой историей и традициями. Его нельзя пропустить.
В целом, наше пребывание в отеле Floral Hotel было незабываемо прекрасным, и мы безмерно благодарны персоналу за то, что он сделал его таким! Надеемся вернуться снова.

MMuya zzЭто очень комфортабельный мини-отель типа «постель и завтрак» с фантастическим расположением прямо на старинной улице Пинцзян-роуд (примерно в 20 минутах езды на такси от станции высокоскоростной железной дороги. Возьмите такси до перекрёстка с отелем GreenTree Inn Express, а затем пройдитесь по переулку до супермаркета Hualian, до которого около 5-6 минут ходьбы). Ха-ха, рядом с мини-отелем есть небольшой ювелирный магазин. Не пропустите его; как только вы войдёте, вы окунётесь в совершенно другой мир!
Моё любимое место — вестибюль на первом этаже. Даже если идёт дождь, сидеть там с чашкой чая, слушать шум дождя и ветра, наблюдать за колышущимися лианами и плавающими рыбами — это просто завораживает! 🌧️ฅ՞•ﻌ•՞ฅ🐟🐟. В мини-отеле три этажа, и лифта нет (не волнуйтесь, дети, вам помогут с багажом). Главная изюминка — огромное банановое дерево, растущее по всем трём этажам. Летом такое прохладное дерево! 🌿🌿🌿
Из-за позднего бронирования номер оказался маловат, но, к счастью, балкон компенсировал этот недостаток. На втором и третьем этажах есть бары на открытом воздухе, откуда можно наблюдать за прохожими на улице Пинцзян. Ночью здесь не шумно, а магазины на улице Пинцзян затихают к 22:30. 🌙🌜
Кстати, это редкий отель типа «постель и завтрак», где завтрак включен в стоимость. На завтрак подают кашу из маша и решетку из девяти квадратов – и то, и другое очень вкусно. Так приятно сидеть на первом этаже и наблюдать за проплывающими рыбками. В следующий раз постараюсь забронировать самый красивый номер на втором этаже.
Мне очень понравилось жить на улице Пинцзян. Я так рада, что приехала в Сучжоу в сезон дождей. Туманный дождь над южным берегом Янцзы такой яркий и красивый! Сучжоуский пинтань (китайский пинтан) — обязательное место для посещения. «Шэншэнмэн» пипы просто ошеломляет (♡˙³˙)♫═. Музей Сучжоу и Львиная роща также обязательны к посещению. Музей Сучжоу, Сад скромного чиновника и Львиная роща находятся на улице Пинцзян, примерно в 20 минутах ходьбы от главной аллеи до главной улицы.

ГГостьРасположение этого отеля невероятно удобное! Он находится недалеко от станции высокоскоростной железной дороги, озера Тайху и торгового центра Wanda Plaza. Рядом множество ресторанов и магазинов, что делает походы по магазинам и ужины в нём лёгкими. Несмотря на шумное расположение, в номерах невероятно тихо. Номера просторные, хорошо оформленные, со всеми основными удобствами в полном объёме и в хорошем состоянии. Учитывая расположение и цену, это действительно исключительное соотношение цены и качества! Персонал очень дружелюбный и отзывчивый. Настоятельно рекомендую тем, кто ценит удобство и соотношение цены и качества!

HHalf Gwailo ABCOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour.
The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat.
So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process.
You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance.
I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom.
There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers.
The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs.
We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy.
When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

JJacqueline, 卉杉Xiao Liu, the inn owner, is extremely polite, helpful, friendly, and reliable. The place is very comfortable, reasonably priced, and in a great location.
All the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. We loved the place so much and truly regretted staying for only one night. From the moment we arrived, we didn’t feel like strangers at all—it felt like being with family. Everyone treated us with sincerity and went out of their way to help. Xiao Liu patiently answered all our questions and even drove us to buy fireworks. He waited for us and later joined us to play the fireworks at night, even though we had already checked out. He kindly allowed us to leave our large luggage with him during the day, which we really appreciated.
The place is exactly as shown in the photos—no overly edited pictures with disappointing reality. Everything was authentic and exceeded our expectations.
We also enjoyed a hotpot dinner at the inn, and it was fresh and delicious. The food is truly a must-try, including their coffee. Everything was excellent, with no doubts about quality.
I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to visit Wuxi again. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family, as well as 德福楼, the restaurant recommended by Xiao Liu. The food there is authentic, delicious, and truly represents Wuxi cuisine.
They also helped us with tickets to the Lingshan Big Buddha. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more—the restaurant owner assisted us with the entrance tickets, and a tour guide even drove us to Lingshan Big Buddha and guided us there, all without any extra charges. Everyone was incredibly kind and generous. If you plan to buy joss sticks and candles, there’s a shop right beside the restaurant with very reasonable prices—absolutely no regrets.
Thank you, Xiao Liu, for your outstanding hospitality. It’s such a pity we didn’t have enough time to visit your sister’s café, but we would love to visit again next time.

ГГостьIt is an unbelievably beautiful house kept in old harmonious style. The room that was provided for us is spacious, and it has many authentic old items to make dozens of photos. But what really impressed us was a table in the living room with water and real living fish in it! The bed is very comfortable. The linen and towels are impeccably clean and soft. The toilet contains a shower - everything is very clean and modern.
Th owner is a very friendly and ready to help person, though communication is possible only via electronic translator.
Проживание в этом красивом доме декорированном в старином стиле, даёт возможность ощутить Суджоу совершенно в ином ракурсе. Предоставляемая комната - просторная с большой кроватью и множеством вычурных старинных предметов, ширмочек, музыкальных инструментов, с которыми можно сделать десятки фотографий. А стол в гостиной вообще нас поразил - в нем выдолблен аквариум и плавают живые рыбки. Дом находится недалеко от главных парков и канала. В душевой и туалете вся сантехника современная и безупречно чистая. Рядом на улице много едален, в том числе и малатан, который мы безуспешно искали в других городах.
Хозяин - очень симпатичный человек, добрый и заботливый. Жаль, что общаться можно только через переводчик.
Если кто-то заинтересован в аренде национальной китайской одежды разных эпох, это можно сделать в лавочках вдоль канала. Стоимость от 85 юаней и выше.
Однозначно рекомендуем этот дом доя проживания! И благодарим хозяина, который разрешил нам оставить вещи после указанного часа.

We had the most wonderful stay at Yunxi Yasu, Designer Cinema Homestay hotel, and it all started with the incredible guest service. When there was short delay with our rooms due to a technical issue, the owner herself personally took care of us. She welcomed us so warmly, brought us tea and snacks, and even lunch and made sure we were comfortable while we waited in her home office. Her kindness and attention made us feel right at home from the very Although we didn't speak a common language we used a translation app and she was kind and patient enough to explain things even when we asked the same thing many times.
Throughout our stay, she continued to go above and beyondespecially when some members of our group fell ill. She not only checked in on them regularly but also sent over traditional Chinese medicine to help them recover. That kind of thoughtfulness truly touched us and is something we’ll never forget.
She also helped us organize taxis and gave us genuine support and assistance without expecting anything in return. In today’s fast-paced world, it's incredibly rare to find someone so selfless and sincere. We are deeply grateful to her and the entire staff.
The rooms themselves were spotless, fresh, and spacious and aesthetically pleasing with traditional Chinese decorations and fun calligraphy tools for us to write on. Housekeeping was done daily, with clean towels and toiletries replaced every day. The hotel had all the amenities we needed, and everything was well-maintained. The view from the hotel was lovely, adding to the overall peaceful atmosphere.
Everyone we met at the hotel was friendly and helpful. By the time we were leaving, we had already made the decision to return in the future. We had such a positive experience, and we highly recommend this hotel to any foreigners or travelers visiting the area.
