I thoroughly enjoyed both of my stays at Blue Mountain, a quirky, clean, calm and perfectly located guest house 5 mins walk from Thamel. It was great to turn down the quiet lane and leave the chaos of Kathmandu behind. I loved the abundance of places to hang out on the rooftop and various balconies and discovered that quite a number of the other guests had stayed there a multiple times or were there on recommendations from other guests. Mr Budddhi, the owner, and his friendly caring staff all made me feel so welcome and definitely spoilt me with some complimentary meals and Diwali gifts. I felt extremely comfortable leaving most of my luggage and my very expensive laptop behind while I went trekking for 2 weeks. Returning back after my adventure felt like coming home. I thoroughly recommend Blue Mountain and especially the owner and staff. I will be coming back!

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Suite Homes Service Apartment. The room was spotless, well-furnished, and offered a beautiful valley view that made the experience feel peaceful and refreshing.The highlight of my stay was enjoying a yummy breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the stunning scenery — such a perfect way to start the day! The food was fresh, tasty, and served with warm hospitality. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Even for just one night, it felt like a mini getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!

Wow. What a Charging place. Very well located in a quite Street right in the center of Thamel. So calm and quite. Very big rooftop filled with plants, rooms are simple and very clean. Hot shower 24 hours a day and the nicest and caring hosts. This guesthouse is one of the oldest Thamel and it has the old vibe of Thamel, before it gotten to be so touristic. So it is a bit outdated but this is part of his charm. A great place to a long stay.

Thank you for your hospitality. Polite and attentive hotel owners helped in exploring the surrounding area. As a lover of historical and religious architecture I was immensely happy. The room overlooked the courtyard, the neighbors were not noisy. Wonderful view of the city on the top floor, in the dining room. For this price - excellent. I recommend it to everyone.

Я использовал его снова после возвращения из базового лагеря Эвереста. В комнате на верхнем этаже было очень приятно провести время перед террасой на крыше. В душе также есть горячая вода.

Было приятное пребывание, но в ванной не было защелки, она была сломана, и группа мужчин, которые жили рядом с нами, производила чертовски много шума ночью и рано утром, из-за чего нам пришлось попросить их сделать потише, так как никто не удосужился им об этом сказать. В душе горячая вода подавалась только 10 минут, что было еще одной проблемой рано утром.
