Mountain Lodge is a Ski In/Ski Out complex located just steps from the slopes and Snowshoe Village. Parking is free and easy for our guests with a private parking lot which is staffed and secured. Walk out of the building and you are right at the top of the high-speed Ballhooter Lift – you can’t find a more convenient place to stay for easy slope access! If you have kids the indoor play area is right outside of the door. The main lobby includes The Mountain Grind (open 5 days a week (closed Tues/Wed.), 8-11 am (hoping to extend hours with good traffic)- includes quality coffee, hot chocolate, juices, hot breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods. The fireplace atrium in the central part of the complex is a relaxing place to get together with friends after a busy day on the mountain. Other atrium areas of the complex have a video arcade, exercise equipment, a movie night area, and a kid’s play structure. There are also vending machines (with credit card readers) throughout including 4 Coca-Cola machines, 2 Pepsi machines, and 2 snack machines. The lower level of the complex houses The Basin (located in the old Comedy Cellar) that offers quick and easy lunch options, Al Dente Ristorante (opening shortly before Christmas) that offers Italian favorites for dinner, Snowshoe's Pre-Ski Program, and conference facilities (seasonally open). Unlike most other buildings at Snowshoe, Mountain Lodge has an outstanding on-site staff, maintenance, and housekeeping staff that can fix most problems fast and with minimal interference with your vacation.Just across the parking lot is the Split Rocks Pool complex with an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, and saunas that are open in ski and summer seasons (fee charged). Wildcat Provisions, the main mountain top market is just across the street so you can pick up any last-minute food, beverages, or other supplies you need. Leave your car keys in the condo as you are so close to the village Starbucks, restaurants, and entertainment that you can walk to most places in less than 5 minutes. You can also get to Silver Creek and other areas of the resort by taking the free and convenient shuttle. The shuttle stops right at the main lobby door for pickup. Mountain Lodge 174 is a one-bedroom mountain view unit, located on the main floor. Come right in the building from the parking lot and the condo is right around the corner. No stairs or elevators needed. The condo has a gorgeous views of Shavers Lake and the Mountain Lodge Lawn. The Mountain Lodge Lawn is a viewing area for the new teaching terrain for the Snowshoe's Pre-Ski program. Our condo is east facing; therefore, guest are able to see their children from our unit if they are participating in the pre-ski program. The kitchen has everything you need to dine in - silverware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes, range, microwave, full-sized refrigerator with pull out freezer with ice maker, toaster, coffee maker, and more. The living room has a sleeper sofa and recliner with a wall mounted tv and mountain views. A portable A/C unit is available in the summer. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed with quality bedding and wall mounted tv. The full bathroom has a tub/shower combo and vanity. Official check-in time is 5:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM - these times are set and managed by the on-site building management. This condo is on the village side and it is just a few steps from the exit of the building to the slopes.Mountain Lodge is the best location on the mountain!Brand new Private balcony with two chairs and table! Compare to other ML condos that share the balcony with your neighbor.Welcome to our ski condo #207 located in Mountain Lodge.Our condo is remodeled with electric fireplace, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, new cabinets and beautiful hardwood floors. You will feel right at home with a queen in the first bedroom and two double beds in the second bedroom. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The condo sleeps 8. Both of the bedrooms and the living room are equipped with flat screen TV's, with lots of high definition channels and premium channels included in the lineup.The kitchen is well stocked and includes a crock-pot, waffle maker, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and Keurig. There is not a dining room table, just the bar with stools and a coffee table that rises up to add four extra places to sit and eat.There are two full bathrooms with a combination tub/shower in each.The condo has a built-in ski rack with lots of extra hooks.We have a washer/dryer located in the condo along with a boot dryer. Coin-operated laundry facilities are located down the hall by the elevator for larger loads.Just a reminder...this is a mountain condo, and it does NOT have air-conditioning. There are several box fans provided. Split Rock Pools and hot tubs are right next door. You must pay an additional daily fee to access this amenity.Mountain Lodge has its own security-guarded parking lot for Mountain Lodge guests. Snowshoe is in the middle of nowhere. Plan ahead and bring anything you might need. There is a small general store a short walk across the parking lot, where you will be able to purchase some groceries. There is a Dollar General at the bottom of the Snowshoe Mountain about 10 to 15 minute drive. The full size grocery store and liquor store is a little over 30 minutes away from Mountain Lodge in Marlinton. Cell service is limited due to the mountainous terrain. AT&T is the best service provider. Verizon service is limited in the area, but generally available in the village.The Lodge offers a spacious lobby with a large stone fireplace that is a perfect location for family fun. ML features a skating rink with artificial ice in the atrium area; a game room offering over 30 video games and amusements and a children's play area. Tickets for ice skating and the playground can be purchased online or at the front desk.The guest service desk is open 24 hours in season to serve you with, retail items, and area information.Mountain Lodge Guests are strictly prohibited from having animals of any kind in Mountain Lodge.Smoking, vaping, any tobacco products or marijuana are strictly prohibited anywhere in Mountain Lodge or within 25 feet of the building. This includes no smoking vaping or marijuana on the decks. Bikes are not allowed in the building. Storage for bikes is available in the shed in our parking lot. Visit the front desk for details.The cleaning fee includes an initial set-up of linens, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, and bath soap. Mountain Lodge provides a truly unique ski in and ski out experience. You can wake up in the morning and grab your skis, take a few steps to the slope, and ski down the mountain without first riding the lift. You can walk to the village to experience dining, shopping, and a fun atmosphere.Our condo has its own free dedicated internet in the condo with wireless router so you don't have to worry about the strength of the Mountain Lodge wi-fi.
