Albergue Xabarin

On the Camino route. Also an albergue with bunk beds, but we stayed in the hotel. Daniel greeted us warmly and gave us a tour. The place is absolutely beautiful: very contemporary, all in a white & gray color scheme. Striking attention to detail: one of the few places where everything matched! Colorful, modern art by a Spanish painter decorated the walls. Prepare a meal and/or your own (provided) breakfast in the magnificent stainless steel kitchen. Laundry service at a fair price. Spotlessly clean! So impressive!

Staying in the private rooms above the Albergue as I write. This is by far the best value for money, the cleanest, the best services, plus such a welcoming host. If I didn't have a Camino to walk tomorrow I might never leave. And they have a mesh bag in the room where you can deposit your laundry which will be cheerfully done and returned to you for a very good rate. And the Supermercado is next door. So Camino Walker's if you are 'done' for the day you will find everything you need here. Absolutely Perfecto.

I stayed one night in the Xabarin Rooms which are above the albergue while walking the del Norte route of the Camino de Santiago. What a great surprise. I had booked a private room with ensuite and was very pleased with what I got. The room was much bigger than many that I have had in the past month while being cheaper and in much better condition than most. Everything was well maintained and very clean. There was a comfortable big bed plus a built in desk and an open hanging space. The bathroom was also a good size and well laid out. The pension provides a mesh bag to use for laundry and the lovely proprietor even took it down for me and brought it back when it was done. There is a large common terrace containing chairs and a frame for hanging drying laundry. The common kitchen/dining room is fully equipped and includes a sophisticated coffee machine, induction hotplates, a dishwasher plus crockery, good saucepans and lots of cutlery. The wifi was excellent. I really can't praise this pension enough for the facilities and attention to a traveller's needs. Don't stay anywhere else in Abadin if you can get a room here.

Stayed 1night in a room (with nice shower & bed, above the albuerge) & enjoyed the kitchen with free breakfast, sun terrace etc and had it almost to myself. Used the laundry service as well. Not much going on there especially on Sundays (no stores open), but a decent restaurant down the street, so plan ahead.

Genial, trato muy bueno, atento y disponible, limpieza de 10 altamente recomendable, desayuno incluido, café, magdalenas, tostadas, sitio genial si haces el camino De Santiago este este es tu sitio sin duda.

Amé el lugar !!! Súper lindo, limpio, remodelado o todo nuevo ! El chico de recepción el más amable ! Ojalá cada albergue fuera así y además el precio buenísimo, hay toallas ! Incluye desayuno!!! Amé

Haciendo camino desde Irún y este es el mejor albergue que he estado. Muy recomendable. Incluso la parte dedicada a literas compartidas son excelentes. Muy limpio y una atención exquisita. Un 5 Estrellas en albergue

El trato del personal maravilloso se puede hacer coladas ya que dispone de lavadora y secadora, el sitio muy limpio, muy cuidado y se está muy agusto en las camas y zonas comunes, muy buena opción para el camino. Desayuno correcto incluido en el precio.
