Hotel Alkantara Thalassa Djerba

Horrible experience at all. Bad service, filthy interiers, food was still same old song for all 16 days. Stray dogs on the beaches, stray cats in the dinning room. Beach was also filthy. 5 elevators in the hotel, only one was functional, but just only for 5 days. Half of people, we met had terrible diarrhea. Very poor bar choice (cola, sprite, beer in can, warm watter - that's all) I would not recommend at all. Last time in Tunisia after this vacation.

I recommend this hotel.People in this hotel are really nice. The food wasn't much but there was something for everyone. Beach cleaned daily. The young animators and dj were the best.🥰 The worst thing about this hotel was Sam their boss. He treats these young people like garbage. He wanted my phone number, he said he wanted to go with me to Poland or the Netherlands. I refused him. After that, he banned the animators from talking to me because he was jealous. He fired them for talking to me and my family!!!! I left a tip at the bar in my room in the reveption and also wanted to give money to the animators. I gave money to one young animator he was fired (he didn't want to take it) and I put it in his bag. Sam came up, took the money from him and gave it back to me and he shouting at him and throw him outside!!! It was my decision my money!!! I want to give him money!!!! Sam is a very bad person uses mobbing to young nice guys!!! This is not normal.

I recommend this hotel very much. This was my first trip to Djerba and I was a little scared for what to expect, but everything turn ot to be fine, even more. My favourite thing in this hotel was food and whole animation team. There was always something new for both. Every night there is mini disco for kid (which I liked even if I am 22 years old) and after that there is a party for us older, with great music and interesting choreography which we will remmember forever. There is just something magic there. People are just nice and if you let them they will be the best versions of themselves. You have pool animation from 10 to 18 and it is also great to do them every day. Balcony is fenomenal and you can drink your morning coffee with peace. I will be back here, nothing has to change.
