Hotel Majestic

The hotel is located in a lovely town that attract tourists and events from all over. I was attending a conference in the congress facility adjoining the hotel. All of the expected facilities and services were efficiently provided. Although the staff of the hotel and the conference facility spoke rather little English, they were always friendly and helpful so it hardly mattered not being able to speak Portuguese. However, the décor and fittings are rather tired: more like ‘majestic’ 60 years ago, though adequate for a shortish stay. My room was cold at night, but I managed to warm it up by keeping the fan heater on. The wifi was sufficient, the bed and bedding comfortable and the catering was excellent – as a vegetarian I always found something delicious, especially the wide selection of salads, fruits and desserts, plus something nice to be found amongst the mains. The only slight irritation was having to pay for drinks, even water and coffee, in addition to the full board. Since my stay was paid by the conference I was attending, it’s hard to evaluate value for money, but I didn’t feel anything was seriously lacking, just that the place felt a little old-fashioned. The conference facility was ok, though air conditioning was noisy in some of the meeting rooms, and the projectors, microphones and screen locations were not the very best. Flat seating only works in large rooms if the screen is very high. But overall, I found the hotel and event facility sufficient for an international conference, even if not really ‘majestic’.

We spend a great family time in this safe and relaxing hotel with a lot of things to do with my son of 4 years old. I highly recommend. Good food, clean we environment and nice staff. Nos tivemos um tempo familiar de qualidade nesse hotel. O local é seguro e tem mas opções de enternimento para crianças. Meu filho q tem 4 anos e gostou muito! A comida é boa, o hotel é bem limpo e as pessoas do hotel são bem atenciosas. Recomendo!

Estive com minha esposa no ultimo final de semana. O hotel tem uma excelente localização, ficando a poucos minutos do centro da cidade. Adoramos o balneario que fica ao lado. A comida é expetacular... com muitos doces e diversos tipos de carnes. Para quem gosta, uma ampla variedade de saladas. Voltaremos com certeza no proximo ano.

Estive no hotel esse último final de semana e amei a experiência!! Uma das comidas mais saborosas que já comi!! Meus filhos amaram a área de lazer com as piscinas, principalmente a aquecida!! A brinquedoteca, não queriam sair de lá à noite!! Funcionários todos mto atenciosos!!

Excelente hotel, bem localizado, próximo ao balneário municipal. Funcionários prestativos, sempre prontas a atender. Comida sensacional, ampla fartura de carnes, saladas e as sobremesas são um show a parte. Limpeza nota 10. Recomendo!

Estivemos em família neste mês de outubro, aniversário de meu filho. O Hotel é simplesmente sensacional. A área da brinquedoteca é perfeita. Piscinas aquecidas tambem são ótimas. A ampla variedade de doces são uma perdição. Todos os funcionários muito educados e prestativos. Recomendo!!!
