WoodSpring Suites Knoxville Airport

Horrible noxious smell throughout the entire property. I prayed that when we got to our room it would be better but it was only worse. We were on the 3rd floor and the smell could only be described as smoke/dog/mildew/mold and god knows what else. My wife who is battling cancer and going through chemo threw up when we got to the room. Roaches scurried into cracks when we turned the bathroom light on. 15 minutes was too long to stay in the room. We immediately checked out and the manager refuses to refund any part of our 3 night stay. It has been over 2 weeks. Worse part is it was end of October which is breast cancer awareness month. He/she could care less what my wife is going through and it is evident in that he/she doesn't have the decency to return my calls or calls from **********. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY. Read the reviews and decide for yourself if your health and the health of your family is worth saving a few dollars.

I booked a 28 day stay here two weeks prior to my reservation date. When I called the day of to be sure I was all set for check-in, they informed me that I would NOT be getting a non-smoking room, as I had reserved. I specifically booked a NON smoking room for me and my two young children and it was reflected that way in my confirmation email. The woman was very rude and not in the least bit apologetic. When I asked if I would be able to switch to a non smoking room once one became available, she very rudely told me there are no guarantees and that it could be awhile. Seeing as I was needing a temporary place to stay for an entire month, with children, this was unacceptable. I canceled my reservation and was lucky enough to get another place in town booked last minute. This did end up working in my favor because this place is so much better, but I would definitely NOT recommend WoodSpring Suites Knoxville.
