Grupotel Port d´Alcudia

В отеле было очень хорошее и качественное обслуживание. Обслуживающий персонал очень добрый и услужливый. Номера неплохие, возможно были какие-то проблемы с регулировкой кондиционера. Пляж находится в 5 минутах от отеля. Он находится в тихом месте с достаточным количеством парковочных мест. Что мне очень понравилось, так это то, что еда была разнообразной и обильной. Бассейн также достаточно большой, чтобы повеселиться и дети, и взрослые. Свежевыжатые апельсины утром были самыми освежающими. Благодарю персонал за доброжелательность, терпение и скорость. Особенно для пожилого господина в очках и с бородой, который сделал почти все, чтобы гостям было хорошо.

The hotel in general was in a perfectly good place, near little shops and just few hundreds of metres from the sandy beach. The view from balcony - to the mountains and the street nearby. Cleaning could be a little better but in general ok. Staff and evening entertainments' were good enough to make the guests days pass by in a good mood. It's strong 8 for the whole visit at this hotel.

Super nice staff, easygoing. They are happy to help you out. Cool hotel, great value for money. Good food. Liked that they have fresh orange juice. For 50 euro you can stay for the whole day in the room - highly recommended. The jacuzzi is cold

Do not understand the off reviews. Here's all the best stuff. This hotel was fantastic, although I only stayed B&B, but that was fabulous, everything cooked perfectly, freshly squeezed orange juice and the coffee was great! All the staff were very very helpful and friendly, could not do enough for the guests! All areas were pristinely clean, including in room maid service. All areas were adequate for the amount of guests in house, including pool and restaurant areas. All guests were treated equally whatever their nationality, and a high percentage of the guests were German, Dutch, Spanish. My room was lovely, the aircon was great, only annoyance was the dreaded Tourist Tax, it was quite hefty. Five minutes walk to a local Lidl, five minutes walk to the beach, five minutes walk to other local shops and restaurants. Two minutes walk to the bus stop, for the Alcudia Old Town, the bus takes approx 8 minutes and cost 3 Euros each way (which is the 40% discounted price for paying by bank card), then again a cab was quoted at around 8 Euros, so if there's more than 2 of you it would pay to get a cab each way. I did find the local restaurants a bit ambitious with their prices. Yes the bed mattresses were rather firm and the pillows too, but after reading reviews before I travelled out, I took a fleecy blanket, rolled it up and used it as a soft top, on top of my pillow. I got used to the firm mattress after a couple of nights - I slept like a log, 10 hours each night. I had a room overlooking the pool, outdoor snack bar and entertainment area. Although I did hear the music/entertainment, it did stop at 10 or 10.30pm. When I was ready to sleep I popped in my earplugs and never heard another thing. There was a HUGE mosquito problem which started around dusk each evening, BUT there were none at or near the hotel. Maybe the hotel treats its own drains and landscaping, but I did not get bitten at or around the hotel nor in my room at night. The mozzies were prolific and mostly around the beach area and the waterways, plus I got bitten whilst walking around the shops later in the evening. I went home after my 5 day stay here, with 20 plus painful bites, they really loved me :) I loved the Grupotel Port d'Alcudia.

Location 10 mini Market 30 second from hotel 7 minute walk to a lidl store beach less than 10 minute walk you will find it hard to find fault with any thing at this perfect hotel room spacious as is the balcony pool area is great for any age, hotel is well run, and very clean

Very comfortable room. Big terrace Great quiet location. Walking distance to the beach. Plenty of choices for breakfast. A lots of space to park car. Helpful staff. Broken bulb was replaced immediately. Highly recommend!!!

This is a lovely hotel with good facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful and all areas were clean and well kept. The apartment is large, particularly the balcony. It's situated in a quiet street but near to the beach and port. The only negative for us was the beds and pillows are hard which is a shame as everything else was excellent.

Great location about midway between the port and the "mad mile" so a nice walk along the beach to either, with a few bars and restaurants nearby. Bus stop 100 yards away, beach 150. Very spacious apartments cleaned every day. We arrived in the middle of the night and really appreciated the bottle of water in the fridge, thank you! If I had to criticise it would be the kitchen area which was really too small. The plates were in a cupboard above my head and there was nowhere to put dishes to drain. Since we weren't intending doing any cooking this was not a problem but I wouldn't like to cook a meal there. Considering the size of the apartment overall I think more space should be given over to this. We were self-catering but we had two meals in the restaurant which were good value for money. There was entertainment in the bar every night. Nice pool area with a snack bar There was also an indoor pool and spa which we didn't use. I would definitely stay here again

Had a great holiday, i would almost anywhere i go, but in the interest of an honest review and giving info for other guests id give hotel and area 3 stars... Hotel negatives- Beds are possibly the worst I've experienced in any hotel. Mattress is hard and thin, but more than that, the actual frames are almost like a camp bed, they move very easy and squeek. Pillows no good for me personally either, I used cushions from the 3rd night. Walls and ceilings are so thin it's unreal. I could hear everything, from the kettle switch being turned on to toilet flushes so loud I thought it was in my own room. Plus obvious talking and alarms from neighbours phones at early hours to wake them for the airport. Hotel positives- Large balcony with decent table and chairs plus drying rack. Big room for a hotel, good settee, very nice shower, lots of wardrobe space, big fridge, kitchenette and 2 TVs. Friendly staff that go above and beyond. Actually cannot stress this enough. Our airport transfer didn't turn up and travel company were unreachable. Hotel staff sorted us a coach to jump onto that was going there. Many thanks! Port d'Alcudia negatives Mosquitoes! Cannot stress enough. If you're not used to somewhere that has them (I've not been anywhere that has them like this since I was a kid) Then prepare. Defo take some Citronella spray to put on yourself and maybe a candle/diffuser for the balcony if you want to keep bites to a minimum. I still got a few bites with these but nowhere near as many as I did without them. Some people out and about had some scary looking reactions to the bites, probably infected. The port area is a very busy and lively. Fights breaking out where police and Guardia had to intervene. Even police blue lighting in the daytime round there. Didn't get a good vibe. Liked the other ***** for the evening. Port d'Alcudia positives Lidl. Not far from hotel with decent prices. Spar shops are everywhere but very steep prices, a lot of things are literally half price elsewhere. The beach! Great beach, nice water that's very clear and shallow far out. Amazing white sand. Nice lake area just off the front. Alcudia is about 30mins walk away, beautiful historic walled town (like a Spanish York) with Roman city ruins just outside that you can visit. Also a museum included in the entry fee. All in all I had a great holiday, but wouldn't rush back to the hotel or Port d'Alcudia on the account of the negatives mentioned.
