Layaali Amman I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who travels to Amman and is looking for a clean, beautiful hotel, with delicious breakfast and conveninently located in the city center just across the Roman Theater. The rooms were spacious and the view of the sunset behind the Roman Theater was breathtaking! The breakfast was very rich and the waffles added a nice touch to it. Make sure you ask for a room with a street view. Don’t forget to alsk check the hotel’s rooftop, the view from there is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is conveniently located at a walking distance to the main attractions in Amman. I would highly recommend it to my friends and I would definitely stay there again.

We wanted to be in downtown Amman, and the Layaali Amman hotel ended up being the perfect fit for us. Our family stayed in two extremely comfortable rooms. The location is absolutely amazing - across the street from the Roman theater, walking distance to the Citadel and the Jordan Museum, and close to restaurants and shopping. The rooms were roomy with great climate controls and plenty of amenities - including a fridge. This part of Amman is busy all day and night, and the street noise can get loud. Thankfully they gave us rooms in the back of the hotel that were super quiet. Caza at the hotel spoke perfect English and was a tireless hard worker - always there to greet us no matter what time of day or night. He was always willing to help us out, explain things, give us advice, order us drivers, etc. The rooftop deck is AMAZING. You need to go - day or night, the views are fantastic. For one of our lunches, we ordered take-in food and had lunch up on the deck, listening to the calls to prayer, watching rollerbladers in the park across the street, thanking our lucky stars that we stayed at this hotel.

This is a small hotel located across the street from the theatre and odeon in Amman. Can take stairs up the hill to the Citadel. The rooms are small but comfortable enough, and include a fridge and air con. The bathroom is tiny but the water pressure is good for a shower. Casa is the owner and he is very friendly and helpful. He helped us arrange a driver to pick us up at the airport and drive us to Jerash. He also stowed our bags for us after check out while we did more touring around.

A no frills, very clean and tidy hotel. Good size room, comfortable bed with very firm mattress. Air conditioning, hairdryer in bathroom, no toiletries other than hand soap on the sink. Breakfast was basic but freshly cooked. Eggs, flat breads, soft sesame topped bread, humus, cheese, tomato, falafel etc, orange juice, tea and coffee. Great location for going out to eat etc in the evening and safe.

This place felt like home! The staff were so super friendly and helpful to me going out of their way to ensure I had a great time, such good value for money, and a fantastic location close to the citadel and Roman theatre. I thought the price was great value for money. I will come back for sure!

Very good location, if you are a tourist. Across the street you can find one of the main landmarks of Amman, The Roman Theater. The Citadel is also at walking distance (take care, is an uphill road, combined with many steps. Also, at walking distance is a huge comercial area made up of several streets full of shops (the merchandise are exposed even on the sidewalks, several souks (food markets) where you can buy vegetables, fruits, sweets, spices, meat or simply just walk around for the show. At a few minutes away there are several small fast-food restaurants where you can try local food. The famous Rainbow street (a disappointment) is also at about 20-25 minutes away (again, uphill, with steps). The hotel is not very big, it has 4 floors (there is an elevator) and a rooftop terrace, where there are a few tables. The view from here is beautiful. The room was bigger than I expected, clean (cleaning is done and towels are changed daily, more often than necessary). The room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator (useful, if you want to keep your beer cold :) ). There is also a TV, personally I didn't need it, I don't know what programs were available. There is a very small balcony with a beautiful view of the street and the Roman Theater. You can pay by card at the reception, but I don't advise you to do that, there is a huge fee when paying by card. Well, high commissions are also charged for currency exchange, so you have to choose between two bad options... The staff at the reception is very kind, they speak English well and are always ready to help you with information. A plus for Christine, with whom I personally interacted the most and who helped me with a lot of information about the city and suggestions about what I could visit. If you want day trips, you can ask for it at the reception. They have a partner agency called Localtrips (the same owner as the hotel), which organizes excursions. I have private day trips to Petra, Ajloun +Jarash and DeaSea + Ma'in Hotsprings. Everything was very well organized. The hotel also provides transfer from and to the airport. Breakfast, included in the accommodation price, is the same every day, OK, but nothing spectacular: boiled eggs, omelette, hummus, bruschetta, olives, a kind of local salami, broadbeans, salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, 3 or 4 types of bread, a few types of jam, some mini-pancakes, about 3 types of local sweets (soaked in honey or sugar syrup), two types of juice, tea and coffee. The staff, very kind. Good Wi-Fi in the room. A minus would be the street noise, for the rooms facing the street. The street is constantly extremely crowded. It is counterbalanced by the beautiful view.

They were all so helpful and the guy who brought my food to me was so helpful.. I’m from nyc am that was my first time overseas and they made it so easy for me especially since they had a tv with and English Channel

Good stuff and service, the hotel close to the downtown amman and close to markets and restaurants, the hotel overlooks the Roman amphitheater. The breakfast is delicious and there are many options. And they clean i like and I recommend it.
