Amsterdam B&B Barangay

My girlfriend and I stayed at Amsterdam B&B Baran*** for 3 days/2 nights on the tail end of our Europe trip. We really enjoyed our stay here. First off, the host Wimmo was there to greet us very warmly, and he gave us a thorough overview of the residence as well as some nearby recommendations for food and drink. Because of the way buildings in Amsterdam are architectured, be ready to climb some stairs. (It helps if you don't have super heavy bags!) The property is very secure and safe, with a key card to enter the building, and a separate physical key to lock the door to the bedroom. Our bedroom came with plenty of amenities, including snacks as well as drinks/wine in the minifridge. The bed was comfortable, and there was enough space in the bedroom for both of us to deal with our bags and clothes and etc. The bathroom is upstairs from the bedroom is really nice--shower was great and water was always warm, body wash and shampoo and conditioner are all provided, extra towels are provided, there is plenty of space, and there is even a bathtub for those who prefer taking a bath. We really had zero issues during our stay. Plus the location is fantastic--just a few blocks away is great food, and getting to the Amsterdam Centraal station is only a 10-15 minute walk. Overall, I would highly recommend checking this place out, and if we are ever back in Amsterdam, we'll definitely consider this place again if it is available!

You cannot beat this location and the opportunity to stay in a beautiful 300 year home in the heart of Amsterdam. Extremely clean, comfortable, and warm and welcoming hosts. Can’t wait to return!

We were only in Amsterdam for under 24 hours before catching our flight, so we spent most of our time exploring the city and sadly didn't get to spend much time at the hotel. The time we did spend at the hotel was awesome. We were welcomed warmly and our room was ready even though we were a bit early. The room was very spacious compared to other hotels in Amsterdam and was very clean and well-appointed. We had everything we needed and slept really well. I highly recommend this place - it's well-located and full of charm. We will be back. Thank you!

Great location. Wimmo is a charming and helpful host. The bedroom is a decent size with an en suite bathroom. clean and comfortable

Handy loaction about 10 minute walk to the centre, however still quiet and peaceful. Lovely friendly staff, and decent rooms. Stayed with my partner and another couple and we all enjoyed our stay. 4/5 would definitely recommend!

The whole experience was fantastic! The bed was comfortable, nice and warm and very easy to get to from airport! I would stay here again. The stairs are steep so bring small bags!

This is a wonderful place! It is within walking distance to the Amsterdam Centraal, restaurants and many attractions. The host is very thoughtful and friendly, providing snacks and drinks. Very comfortable bed. We had a great time.

My son and I had a lovely stay- the view from the room was amazing- morning red faced parakeets and view of the cot in the garden below really lovely. Loved that the bathroom was upstairs - all fixings really well considered and space well used- loved it

When my friend and I decided to have a trip to Amsterdam the Baran*** was the first B & B that popped up on the search, and we are so very happy it did. We have never stayed in such a lovely place, from the reception from Mynor when we arrived later than expected, to the beautiful room ( and gorgeous bathroom with magic toilet with bottom washing bonus, I used it even when I didn't need to!) The room was very clean and comfortable and decorated beautifully and we slept like logs. Watched the world going by while eating the most delicious breakfast delivered to our room. The Baran*** is in the perfect spot, close to Centraal Station and to the most picturesque parts of the city. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink close by, we loved it and we're sad to leave. We will be back for sure ❤️
