We liked this hotel during our stay at Ann Arbor. The location is very good, quiet. This hotel has ample parking. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The area is well light for a late evening walk and felt safe. The hotel is maintained very well; rooms are spacious and clean. The gym and pool are great addition too. The hot breakfast is a big plus at this location. It is very interesting to see tortillas and their go to sides. The kitchen is very comfortable, clean and spacious. It is well stocked with vessels. This location is definitely worth staying. The location is very drivable distance to the university.

The bed at least comfortable and there is full kitchen. However service was lacking. We asked in the app for extra pillows etc the day before we arrived and nothing was there. They rectified but required us to call a few times before anyone picked up. Their shower water pressure in our room was almost non existence. Our shower was kind of miserable as water was a like a light trickle. We were in room 219. We got in at 11pm and leaving the next day. The coffee maker inside the water part was dirty. I had to clean it first to use. Overall sloppy hotel stay. Do not recommend.

Friendly, attentive front desk. Unfortunately, there is no safe in the room, so I had to use the front desk a lot. The mattress is quite firm. The window opens, but it is too hard to reach it because of the desk blocking it. The kitchenette is reasonably well equipped. The room was clean. The bathroom/sink area was poorly designed: there is no towel rack by the sink, which is separated by a door from the shower/toilet. The shower enclosure uses a sliding glass door, but it is poorly designed, leaking water on the floor. Furthermore, that door had a misaligned latch and strike plate, so it could not latch closed. The (bath) sink drains somewhat slowly. The fridge buzzes briefly throughout the day and night. The ventilation works well but is a bit tricky to understand. Air does not circulate from other rooms, which is good. The wifi was good. I could hear noisy neighbors through the walls (but they were quiet at night).

This is an incredible place to stay. "100% recommended" the suites and the hotel facilities are very comfortable. I've stayed in many Marriott Bonvoy hotels with my family for 7 years so, I can say this is the most comfortable, clean, modern and beautiful hotel we have been stayed in. People is very polite! Mr. Richard Porco is a great Manager who always is pending of guest to reach Costumer Satisfaction. Once we had problems to coordinate time for housekeeping service and I claimed about anyone did not the service in my room. Mr. Porco took the responsibility and he did the service personally. He worries about guest concerns and he does everything he can do. He is a great leader and he has an excellent team. I've been stayed in this hotel for around 70 nights in this year and Totally recommended.

We are currently staying here for surgery at University of Michigan. Something to note (and it shows) Richard Porco is no longer the GM here. Service is lackluster at best. We relied on reviews that mentioned how caring the staff was about patients here for surgery. That is emphatically no longer the case. 1. Housekeeping - even though when checking in on the app it states service every other day, when I asked for service 2 days after so that the room would be clean after my wife returns from service, I was told it’s done every 3 days and there’s a sign at front desk. Seriously didn’t have empathy regarding the surgery. I had to argue to request the service and we shall see if it happens tomorrow. 2. Maintenance - dishwasher rack was rusty so we requested a replacement since we needed to wash dishes immediately as many were left dirty on shelf or in silverware drawer. After 3 calls, they eventually replaced with a less rusty rack. Didn’t bother to let them know one tv remote won’t work and glass is falling on the kitchen cupboard. 3. Staff - must be highly understaffed. Everyone you talk to just sounds like they don’t want to be here and customer service is unimportant. Even the GM when I called for hangars and dishwasher, sounded rushed and wanted me off the phone quickly. So very disappointing as we’ll be here 1 week post surgery for my wife to recover. We’ll have to make the best of it.

This was an ideal place to stay. Manager Richard Porco and his entire staff went over and beyond to accommodate - or better! - every request, giving me a pretty view, a quiet room, and just the right amount of housekeeping service. Not only was every staff member friendly and helpful, the well-maintained property is situated in a beautiful nature preserve. Online photos aren't as pretty as it actually is. Within short driving distance from the UM campus, and easy walking distance from a bus drop (although I did not try that). I would certainly stay here again. I don't know all of the desk staff's names but Keshawn was particularly helpful in getting my reservation modified when I needed to do that. Thank you!

Stayed at this hotel during a long term medical treatment. The entire staff is welcoming and attentive. The rooms and facility are meticulously clean and well appointed. Hotel features are designed to make you comfortable while you are away from home. Richard Porco is an excellent manager with a well trained staff. I cannot say enough good things about our stay here.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, especially the General Manager Rich. We loved the pool area and the fire pit with the outdoor seating. Our room was immaculate and worked perfectly for our needs. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area.
