A little dated with the room & hotel in general but friendly staff & being close to airport made up for it. Bed was comfortable but shower in my room leaked all over the floor. I was only there 2 nights so didnt bother me too much

Very handy location with free shuttle service to Airport. Room was spacious bed was very comfy. Staff were really helpful.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was awful — the carpet was dirty, there were spider webs in the bathroom, and the shower head was broken, with only scalding hot water coming out. On top of that, the wallpaper was peeling off due to mould, which made the room feel damp and unhygienic. The staff were also quite rude and unprofessional Overall, this hotel needs serious cleaning, maintenance, and staff training. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Great room, huge , nice bed, there was a crack in the shower tray. Shower pressure great, staff great, parking right outside my door👍🏼

This hotel is reasonably close to the airport. It has a great shuttle service to and from the airport. Great value for money. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic little restaurant onsite, friendly staff & clean rooms.

Hotel has good locations near the airport , quite clean and rooms are well equipped. The staff manning the reception counter on the 15th June @ 8PM was very helpful & very courtious....although the reception staff manning rge counter on the 16th June ( 9 AM ) - a middle eastern woman was not so friendly & less attentive to our enquiries or requests. However, They refused to give refund for booking cancellation on the 31st May 2025 due to circumstances beyond our control ( being held up at the Airport Immigration & unable to check in as per bookings). This is despite we repeated the bookings with the same Hotel Group ( VR Hotel Auckland Central - Hobson Street) on the 14th June & again at the Airport Gsteway Hotel on the 15th June... Thank you.

pillows were all stained and didn't look like linen was clean, bed linen looked ok. some towels also stained and dirty looking. bathroom door not painted exposed wood and walls cracked, window moldy. very noisy housekeeping yelling to each other down hallway and banging doors.

Front office staff not friendly at all, ignorant and pathetic, I will never ever going to stay in this hotel in the future. Front office females staff members totally rude and ignored multiple requests for an upgrade and never responded or even a phone call to the room.

I arrived at 2am. Late flight. Allocated a room that had not been cleaned. Used towels on bathroom floor.  Will not be using this hotel again. I do not recommend this place.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and the location was very convenient. Housekeeping and restaurant staff were courteous and efficient. However, the only downside was the front desk staff — while they were professional and helpful, they rarely smiled or made an effort to be welcoming. A warmer attitude at the reception would definitely enhance the overall guest experience.

the shower is not hot enough for me and the toilet flushing is leaking...which bothered my sleep...besides these two things all were nice

Great hotel, great price and great room with free shuttle bus. Unfortunately I arrived late and the duvet on the bed was badly stained. Nothing was done to assist my complaint at the time (which could have earned a 5star review) but I was given a free breakfast in the morning and refunded half the cost of the room.
