We had a very pleasant stay, comfortable, well considered room, with a kettle and tea making facilities in the room. Also a much desired bath tube, very important after a hard day's skiing. Also could park right outside, keep our skis in ski room and pop down to breakfast and dinner in a very relaxed fashion.

It has always been a pleasure to spend a few days here. Amandine and Cyril offer a warm welcome, a real passion for the region and for hospitality. They continue to improve the rooms, and the restaurant has stepped up as well.

It was such a pleasure to wake up in the morning , after a goog night's sleep , and see the lovely spring view over the village. The room was comfortable , with good bedding ( important for my back ) The evening meal was excellent ,( I recommend the " navarin d'agneau " ) and the breakfast offered a wide variety of good local products . The team had at heart to make us feel happy and comfortable , really , there was nothing more to be asked for . No hesitation at recommending the place , and the warm and professional people who run it .

We had a very nice diner with our 3 children at La Buffe at the end of December. Not only is the diner super tasty, served promptly and very refined, but it was great to have some entertainment available for the kids to play (fussball, books, games) at times. We will definitely be back to this address, by far the best in the region !!!

Amazing how people make a place. I knew at check-in I wanted to stay there again and nearly booked a second night. Unfortunately we didn’t and we should have.

The bedroom toilet smelt of sewage and the door didn't close - very old toilet that hadn't been renewed like the rest of the bedroom. the bathroom, not shown in the photos was also very oldy weldy with a simple bath and old shower hose attached to the taps. There was no hairdryer and one miniscule bar of soap. We ate in the restaurant and the food was heated up, not freshly cooked and had no taste. The fish and chips was a laugh as there were no chips but stringy pasta and a dried piece of fried trout. I honestly have not tasted food so bad in a long time. The beer 7€ per small bottle was awful - no beer on tap! There was dirty carpet up the hallways and this whole awful, not even one star experience cost almost 200€ per night. What an absolute rip off!!!

A quaint family run hotel in the heart of Autrans. Recently refurbished to very warm chalet style standards. Big restaurant area offering copious freshly baked breakfast and great food. Most of all, the staff is super friendly. Amandine was very nice, helpful and patient with us from planning all the way to the last minute. Highly recommend this hotel at all seasons of the year, given also what Autrans has to offer all year round. Thank you team La Buffe.
