Sealark Bed and Breakfast

I wish there was an option to rate this B&B 10 stars - because that is what it deserves! My boyfriend and I had to travel to Avalon for a friend’s wedding and could not believe how expensive nearby hotels were for a 2 night stay. We normally have no issue paying a bit extra for quality/proximity to the beach/wedding venue, but hotel prices weren’t reasonable whatsoever for the quality of the rooms we were seeing. However, my boyfriend found the Sealark on TripAdvisor and we could not believe the gem we stumbled upon. Our stay in “The Artist Loft” was very reasonably priced and felt incredibly homey! The owner, Barbara, made every effort to make sure we were comfortable, satisfied and always felt at home. The room (pretty much an apartment) was spacious and very clean. I wish we stayed longer so we could have used the kitchenette more, but we were spoiled rotten with the amenities this room provided! Very clean and modern bathroom, including a very cozy living room. We also took advantage of the raised back deck and front porch with very comfortable rocking chairs to sip coffee or curl up with a book. If I ever find myself needing to escape NYC for a calm weekend, the Sealark will be the first to come to mind!

Such a sweet place! The owners were amazing, the breakfast was DELICIOUS and they accommodated my gluten free needs. The room was so comfortable and we were just blocks away from both the beach and the Main Street.

We loved staying at the Sealark! It was so beautiful, very clean, and Ed and Barbara were so nice and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, too! We will definitely be staying again in the future!

Lovely accommodations, wonderful owners. Bed was very comfortable, bedroom inviting and charming, and bedroom clean. Loved breakfast on the porch. Enjoyed conversations with owners and other guests. Convenient location.
