Ibis Budget Verdun

Well what can I say, room was like a prison cell dirty bathroom no lock on the toilet door so it would not stay shut, the whole room smelled of cigarettes, and to cap it off the rear car park was like a lorry park I was kept up all night by the sound of lorry engines running all night would avoid at all cost

We got robbed at Ibis Budget in Verdun :( We arrived at Ibis Budget after 10pm on July 12, after having tried another hotel of the same hotel chain in the area. We booked and paid Ibis Budget from our phones at arrival, still in the hotel parking lot. And then - when we inserted our reservation code into the machine in front of the hotel, the machine told us that our code was not valid. There was no one at the hotel. There was no way to get in, although we had paid the hotel and gotten our reservation code in the internet just then and there. When trying to call and at the end email the person responsible for the hotel, the worst is that we received a practically insulting email back implying that we were just trying to lie to them to get our money back for no reason, that they considered us a "no-show" to the hotel. They denied that there had been any problem with their IT systems, although their machine had given us an error message saying our booked and paid reservation code was not valid. We are in shock for the horrible experience. We paid but were not able to enter to the hotel. And to boot, we received an insulting response from the person responsible for the hotel. We are escalating the issue and still trying to get our money back at Accor Hotels, to which Ibis Budget belongs.

This is a great budget hotel in Verdun. Easy access, lots of parking and a great price. The room was very spacious. Please be aware it’s budget so it’s basic but you get all you need to survive for a night in a comfortable environment. Staff were lovely and the hotel was clean. My only gripe is that the walls are very thin and you could hear pretty much everything in the next room, including the bathroom activities 😳 This could have been avoided as the hotel was pretty empty. We really didn’t need to be back to back rooms, we could have been spaced out. Overall though exactly what I expected at a great price!

Assez excentré, perdu dans une zone commerciale, mais pratique pour spectacle des flammes à la lumière. Accueil et service très sympathiques. Petite chambre basique, micro plan de travail, cabine douche plastique. Wc séparé. Literie propre et correcte. Petite tv. Système de petit rideau laissant passer le jour donc pas de grasse mat. Petit dej basique.

Chegamos no dia 15/09/2024, às 12:20 hs, após o horário previsto para o check in. Havia pessoas bebendo bebidas alcoólicas e perambulando pelo estacionamento e pelas dependências do hotel. Mesmo com muito medo, resolvemos tentar entrar e fizemos o check in... meu Deus! Que cenário apavorante! Todos os quartos, inclusive o nosso quarto (210) estavam na mais absoluta bagunça e desordem! Não havia nenhum funcionário do hotel disponível para nos ajudar, sequer com uma informação. Mas o pior ainda estava por vir: havia uma porta aberta, sem tranca, sem controle de acesso, sem senha de segurança, completamente aberta, pela qual as pessoas transitavam, para colocar suas roupas para secar no sol, no gramado externo. Uma cena de horror, e impensável para um hotel. Ficamos apavorados e ultrajados com o descaso da administração do hotel com o conforto e segurança dos hóspedes! Fomos embora rapido, com medo, mesmo tendo feito o check in. Já enviamos várias mensagem para a Sra. Valerie Buffello, gerente do hotel, que até agora não tomou nenhuma providência com relação ao reembolso do valor pago por mim! Queremos o cancelamento da reserva, o estorno do valor cobrado e obviamente uma compensação pelo aborrecimento e perda de tempo que este hotel lastimável nos trouxe. Estamos passeando, de férias: não queremos nos sentir num cenário de filme de terror que, afinal, foi o que presenciamos! Fujam deste hotel! Não se hospedem neste hotel! É perigoso!

Pour 1 nuit c’est convenable. L’accueil que je jugerai mitigé. Chambre petite , toiles araignées +++, douche dans chambre ce qui peut être dérangeant pour intimité. Mauvaise insonorisation, mon voisin chambre a cote à ronflé toute la nuit petit déjeuner industriel qui fait son job Le + : parking , distributeur boisson et friandises. Bonne localisation entre le champs de batailles et Verdun
