In the middle of the Waldecker Land you will find here, right on the Twistesee a beautiful. Wohlfühloase
Nestled in a forest landscape, in the first row to the Twistesee.
Hiking trails and cycle paths lead you through the beautiful Waldecker Land.
Bad Arolsen with its avenues and the magnificent castle, Mengeringhausen with its half-timbered houses, the Edersee or the Diemelsee, everything is easy to reach by bike and hiking trails.
The Waldecker Land is the green lung of Hesse, in the middle of Germany.
The house is made in beautiful wood construction and is fully equipped.
There is a bedroom with a 2x2 mtr. Boxspring bed, 2 bedrooms each with a single bed and in the living room a pull-out sofa bed for 2 persons.
On the large terrace, which faces the lake, you can relax while singing the birds and the rustling of the forest.
About a small forest path are the Twistesee Rundweg after about 200 meters, the beach with a bistro and caffee after about 400 meters and the boat rental after about 500 meters.
The 9-hole golf course with driving range and restaurant is easy to reach from the beach via a road up the hill after about 200 meters.
The Waldecker Land with its many cycle paths invites cyclists with its easy and demanding itineraries to a nice tour.
Of course, there are also a variety of beautiful hiking trails through the beautiful landscape.
Mount bikers in spring, summer and autumn and skiers in winter, find in about 35 km away Willingen everything you need.
The house is part of a holiday park with a total of 167 holiday homes.
The holiday park has a minigolf course, a volleyball hard court, table tennis, a tennis court and a children's playground.
Ideal for families with children.
Pets are not allowed with us.
Smoking in the cottage is also not allowed.
Linen packages consisting of bedding set a shower and a towel can be ordered in advance for 10 euros per person.
The final cleaning fee of 50 euros and the price of the laundry sets are to be paid in cash upon arrival. Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Das einzig positive war neben der Lage der freundliche Austausch mit der Verwalterin. Ich verweise auf die vorherigen Rezensionen. Insbesondere die Baufälligkeit der Terrasse und die keimigen, durchgelegenen Matratzen waren eine Zumutung für eine Familie mit 2- und 6- jährigem Kind. Das Objekt hätte gute Vorraussetzungen für eine tolle Ferienunterkunft in bester Lage, leider scheint das den Besitzer wenig zu interessieren. Wir haben zwei schlaflose Nächte dort verbracht und haben unseren Urlaub dann vorzeitig abgebrochen. Nicht zu empfehlen. Dann lieber ein bissel mehr Geld ausgeben und eines der anderen wunderschönen, gepflegten Häuser mieten.

Übernachtung im Holzhaus
Ich möchte schon im voraus betonen , dass dies meine erste negative Beurteilung zu einem Urlaub ist ,egal ob es im Hotel , eine Pauschal Flugreise oder ein Ferienhaus - Ferienwohnung war .Von ca. 40 -50 Beurteilungen ist es die einzige schlechte.Positiv : die Betten waren bequem und die Küche hatte eine gute Ausstattung .Im Haus war es sauber .Negativ : Die Terrasse ist total vernachlässigt . Die dortige Sitzecke oder ? ist unansehnlich . Die Holzbohlen der Terrasse sind für Kleinkinder gefährlich , da an einigen Stellen Nägel rausschauen . 4 oder 5 Kunststoffstühle ohne Auflagen und 1 Tisch runden das ganze ab . Ein Grill ist nicht vorhanden . Es war ein Fernseher da , aber ohne Signal. Nach Nachfrage bei unserer Ansprechpartnerin ,hat leider der Techniker über Pfingsten Urlaub , so das wir keine Programme hatten . Wären meine Söhne nicht schon älter ,wären wir direkt nach Hause gefahren . Die Dusche ist sehr klein und bei der Toilette hatten wir das Thermostat vom Heizkörper am Oberschenkel .

In die Jahre gekommen und vernachlässigt
Eine an sich schöne Hütte in toller Umgebung. Allerdings ziemlich vernachlässigt. Kaputte Dinge werden nicht repariert oder ausgetauscht, die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, das Haus ist leider feucht und muffig (Schimmel in der Dusche, Fensterrahmen usw) und ziemlich staubig. Das Loch auf der Terasse wurde immernoch nicht repariert und stellt eine Gefahr da, andere Balken auf der Terrasse werden
demnächst brechen. Keine Töpfe oder Pfannen in der Küche und die Toilettenspülung funktioniert teilweise nicht, weil der Spülkasten ewig braucht um wieder voll zu laufen.
Hier besteht Verbesserungsbedarf in vielerlei Hinsicht, danach ist es wieder eine schöne Unterkunft.
Unser nächstet Aufenthalt am Twistesee wird in einer anderen Hütte stattfinden.

Überarbeitung dringend erforderlich
Zwei große Löcher auf der Holzterrasse, kaputte Glühbirnen, eine fehlende, im Schlafzimmer stehende, Kleiderschranktür sind leider nur einige der aufgefallen Unannehmlichkeiten.
Dreckige Töpfe, Schimmel an den Fensterrahmen aus Holz, 13 Zigarettenkippen im Grill, eine kaputte Duschkopfhalterung und ein Behälter mit Rattengift auf der Terrasse runden das Angebot ab.
Für eine Familie mit kleinen Kindern oder ältere Mieter nicht geeignet.
Auf der Terrasse hätte ein Kleinkind ohne weiteres in der en Löchern versinken können.
Wir haben aus Sicherheitsgründen einen Tisch über die Löcher gestellt.
Die Schranktür wurde in vorherigen Bewertungen schon erwähnt und nicht repariert, ebenso die Türklinke, die immer wieder rausfällt.
Für uns kommt ein weiterer Aufenthalt in diesem Hause nicht in Frage.
Der Vermieter wohnt angeblich in der Nähe aber schafft es nicht, diese Probleme zu beheben.
Sehr schade, die Lage des Hauses ist super.

Kaputte Katastrophe
Dusche hat Risse an denen man sich verletzen kann, das Wasser ist für 2 Minuten warm, die Türen bei den Schränken sind schief oder stehen daneben, Sauberkeit nur auf den Hauptwegen durchs Haus, der Rest war zum Teil schwarz vor Dreck, Fenster gingen nicht alle zu öffnen. Pflegezustand sehr schlecht. Das schlechteste Haus im Ferienpark in den letzten 23 Jahren ďas wir hatten.

Schönes Haus, aber schwer vernachlässigt
An sich, ein sehr schönes Haus ! Leider wird es sehr vernachlässigt ! Bei Check-in ( alles über Handy „ Schlüssel liegt unter der Fußmatte „), mußten wir feststellen, dass der Kleiderschrank im Schlafzimmer defekt war ( eine Schranktür ausgebrochen) ! Dusche auch beschädigt ! Schlafzimmertür von innen beschädigt ! Auf Nachfrage erfuhren wir, das dies alles schon länger bekannt ist ! Warum kümmert man sich dann nicht darum ? Kann man nicht verstehen !
Wir haben bei Abreise noch mitgeteilt, dass das Waschbecken im Bad, nicht vernünftig abläuft ! Hoffentlich wird das, bis zum nächsten Gast behoben !

Nettes Haus, aber die Klinke fiel aus der Tür
Das Haus ist soweit nett, etwas muffig, aber allgemein geräumig und gemütlich.
Utensilien für Küche und Bad waren sehr spartanisch (Minimum an Salz und Pfeffer, keine Handseife, eine Rolle Toilettenpapier, ...), was erstmal einen mittleren Basis-Einkauf notwendig machte.
Irritierend war, dass bei einem Zimmer die Klinke so locker war, dass sie aus der Tür fiel und nachts unterm Bett verschwand, was am nächsten morgen erstmal zu einem Suchen führte, damit die Tür überhaupt geöffnet werden konnte.
Alles in allem nett und sauber, schön gelegen, mit Terasse und Grill etc., dennoch Abzüge in der B-Note für Ausstattung und die Klinkenthematik ging gar nicht!
