Villa Selina

Can only repeat the previous review. A relaxing stay at the wonderful Villa Selina at Bondalem on the north coast east of Singaraja. It's a world away from the chaos and congestion of the south. Dare I say old school Bali. Warm welcome from Matt Putu and their lovely staff. Secluded and quiet overlooking the sea, nice rooms and a pool to cool off amidst beautiful gardens. Excellent food and recommend the fresh fish. I can't recommend it more highly and looking forward to returning on my next trip to Bali.

Villa Selina is heaven on earth. Coral reefs, black sandy beaches, and fishing boats are at its door. The great hospitality make this place a must to visit. Freshly caught fish on the menu, and freshly cooked traditional food cooked by the owner made our stay a memorable one. A great pool, and ocean equipment such as boards were supplied for our use. Our bungalow with outdoor bathroom set in the tropical garden made our stay very comfortable. The location is free of traffic and noise, and it lacks the commercialism found in the south.

We loved staying at this gorgeous resort with Matt,Putu ,Selina Raymon and the lovely Geddeh This little diamond is set in lush tropical gardens with a pool to cool off and viewing platforms to laze around and read books .Actually Matt is an author and I read his book whilst there.Putu serves up some amazingly tasty food and there is coffee available free all day. Our room was so lovely and we will definitely be coming back.If you like hospitality in the Balinese family style you are in for a rare treat at this old school resort.

Amenities are 1st class and well above the other local standards.. amazing hosts and great food. You can even try a bit of surfing or fishing straight off their very own lrivate beach.Booked again for our 3rd trip in May. Can't wait. See ya soon Matty and Putu

We had the most enjoyable stay in this gorgeous property with immaculate gardens, very tastefully decorated, excellent food and fabulous customer service. Felt like stepping into the 80's when the whole island was still untouched and a tropical paradise. Everything about this place was amazing and we very much look forward to returning. Awesome private beach, great afternoon beer setting overlooking the private beach and surf spot with local fishermen bringing in fresh Mahi maki and squid fo a delicious dinner. Great value restaurants and venues and country side surrounding areas making this an impeccable quit, relaxing and enjoyable place which offers great value for people of all ages.

One of my happiest memories of Bali. Unspoilt and beautiful. We felt really welcome and the accommodation was very comfortable. Fantastic food too. Best fish curry I ever had. The location is the 'real' Bali and a genuine experience of the island and its people.

Have very sweet memories of our stay in Villa Selina. Beautiful, pure, welcoming place with great respect for de local culture🙏. Eating great food in front of the ocean, magnificant view Quiet, paeceful. This is the Bali, i liked very , very much.

Mathew and Putu are the nicest Hosts you could imagine. It was so hard to leave their little paradise. I will definitely come back as soon as possible. Next time for a longer stay. If Bali is a 10, Villa Selina is a 12. At least. Thank you! All the best from Stefan and Steffen!

Ein Paradies, das bleibt. Schon früher waren wir dort, Corona hat uns zu einer Pause gezwungen, aber das Selina hat seinen Stil bewahrt. Die netten Menschen, die schönen Bungalows, der Garten, das Essen, ....so war Bali früher und so ist es noch hier im Norden. Alles ist so grosszügig gestaltet, dass selbst bei Vollbelegung (das müssten im Extremfall 16 Gäste sein) jeder seinen ruhigen Lieblingsplatz bekommt. Ausser Schwimmen gibt es Surfen (eher im Winter, da im Sommer keine Wellen) SUP, Schnorcheln und auf Wunsch wird Tauchen vermittelt (Bondalem Eco Dive) oder Ausfüge organisiert. Auch sehr empfehlenswert: die Massagen. Es gibt sehr gut erzogene Hunde und inzwischen 2 Katzen, die aber nie in die Bungalows gehen, egal wie oft man die Türen auf lässt und jeden Skeptiker zu einen Tierfreund machen. Die Tiere merken aber ob man sie in der Nähe haben möchten und gehen eben woanders hin.
