Saren Indah Hotel

Beautiful hotel, surrounded by rice paddies in a quiet part of Ubud. Lovely pool; great sunsets! Breakfast was good; staff friendly and helpful. Very clean spaces. Close to Monkey Forest - but a relatively easy walk into Ubud (slightly uphill).

It was small but cozy place with spectacular views from everywhere. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. The hotel had a good sized pool as well.

There was an inconvenience of moving the room because the air conditioner was poor, and the TV didn't work, but it was all a side job. There is a swimming pool, and the water level is very low at first, but it is 1.8m deep if you walk a few steps. However, despite such a dangerous structure, there is no warning message or record of deep depth near the swimming pool. They wrote down the depth in very small letters on the stone but look it up if you can find it in the picture I posted. It will be hard to find even with a magnifying glass. My father fell into the water while swimming in the pool, expecting to be safe, and after struggling for more than 30 seconds, he eventually lost his strength and was on the verge of dying. Just in time, a Uruguayan tourist who was enjoying a vacation at the swimming pool was able to rescue his father. I was seeing when it’s happen but I can’t swim, I had no choice but to shout outside and there was no rescue equipment (tubes, ropes, life jackets). The staff heard me shouting and only a few female employees came a minute later. My father would probably have died here without the traveler. I am personally grateful to him. And I'm sure there will be a death in the pool within a year at this hotel. I hope you're not the victim. Arranged by our travel agent we did a cooking class and it was amazing. The class was so well organized and the result was yummy. We had a great day with great food. The chef explained about the different spices and ingredients and helped to cook the different dishes. The ladies are so warm and friendly, they really made us feel at home.

Great place with lovely rooms in the middle of small rice fields. Very friendly staff, nice breakfast and perfectly located next to the monkey forest at walking distance to the center. Perfect as starting point for excursions around Ubud.

A very nice hotel to spend with family and friends. A clean and good rooms to offer to tourist. well accommodating crew and staffs. Highly recommended to friends. if your looking for a kind type hoteel.

We spent a week at the lovely Saren Indah early in June, and it was great to be back at this very special hotel. We have stayed here many times, and hope to have many more visits in the future. The owners and staff are still as warm and welcoming as always and treat every guest like family. Service is always given with a genuine smile. Our room had been freshly painted and timbers were clean and shining. It was well cleaned each day. Breakfast was made to order, as guest numbers still low and this makes sure that food is not stale or going to waste. The restaurant was still closed, but we were advised it would be re-opening in July. The gardens are still lovely, and the pool clean and sparkling. Owners and staff are doing ongoing maintenance to ensure everything about the hotel is in good order. I highly recommend this small hotel to those looking for a quiet boutique hotel with excellent service, set in rice fields in the charming village of Nyuh Kuning. This really is a small oasis in Ubud.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines idyllique dans cet hôtel ! Tout y est parfait ! L’emplacement dans une rue animée , où nous pouvons trouvé des restaurants bon marché , des salons de massage , et autres … Mais les chambres sont au milieu de rizières et elles sont très calmes . Le personnel est très gentil ! Une jolie piscine ! Un bon petit déjeuner .! Tout est très propre ! Je ne peux que recommander !!!
