Villa Pantulan Bali

Villa Pantulan is located just south of Ubud in the village of Lodtunduh. It is a traditional villa compound made up of Living,dining,kitchen,office,bathroom in one building. Three other buildings are the bedrooms lined by covered walkways. Lotus is the main bedroom, 2 levels with sitting area & outdoor bathroom with a twin bath & seperate shower. Rice field & Garden view rooms each with ensuite. the third building, Temple garden has 2 bedrooms on 2 levels & share bathroom. Long lap pool with laying areas in the water at each end overlooking the rice fields. Villa is located between 5 to 10 mins drive depending on traffic from Ubud. In a rural environment. Cows,chickens,frogs,bird noises are heard, but absolutely no traffic noise or temple noise. Option of renting 1 bedroom or all 5. I have stayed here 4 times over last 3 years & one occasion had the whole villa to myself. Other occasions other rooms were rented so it was great to chat with other guests & we decided to have a roast pig delivered for a dinner, whole Babi Guling. Staff can go quickly to local warnings to pick up food on request but for the Babi meal an early notice needs to be given. You can use the kitchen if you desire or staff will do everything for you. Staff are attentive & keep the villa well maintained & do a lot of work while guest out for the day. There is a 2 level massage hut with sitting area,day bed & built in desk. A great space to relax in reading or doing work. Staff will organise massage persons on request. Bedrooms all aircon with ceiling fans & main living pavilion has ceiling fans & open concept all constructed in more traditional style of timber & Alang Alang roof. The villa is like having your own house in a country environment with rice pady views which makes for an overall restful experience in a traditional setting in Bali that captures what Bali used to be & not a new modern structure in an over developed tourist area.
