The hotel is well-located near a shopping center, making it easy to find dining options. Haidilao is just around the corner. However, the night staff clearly need better training.
After checking in, I went to take a shower late at night (around 12 AM on 02/07) and realized there was no hair conditioner left in my room. When I called the front desk, the night shift staff member simply replied, *“We don’t have hair conditioner at the front desk.”* I explained that my room’s hair conditioner bottle was empty, to which she responded, *“Oh, you don’t have any in your room?”*—as if I would call asking for something that was already there!
She repeated that she didn’t have any hair conditioner available at the front desk and mentioned that housekeeping was off duty. In my experience, hotel staff usually retrieve missing amenities themselves if housekeeping isn’t around, but this employee showed no willingness to help. Instead, she said someone would bring hair conditioner in the morning. This did not happen. What if there had been no body wash left —was I supposed to skip showering altogether?
The lack of basic problem-solving and customer care was disappointing. The hotel needs to improve its service standards.
