Hostal Casa Tropicalia

The room smelled like mold (Cayena Suite), everything was falling apart, there wasn't enough toilet paper, the door was poorly insulated, the shower had a clogged drain, IT WAS HORRIFYING. They say they speak English, but that's a lie and they make no effort to make you understand them. In addition to this, I went through a super dangerous situation as a woman traveling alone. The staff and owners themselves make noise and party until late at night and the private rooms all face the speakers. On the first night, they stayed up until 1 am with the music turned up loud and talking loudly. On the second night, I feared for my life. I was sleeping and 2 men who must be the owners came and played SUPER LOUD music at the door of my room at 2 am. I woke up super scared and was feeling sick that day. I sent a message to the reception who NEVER got back to me, but I heard someone going to talk to these men and they started yelling as if they were bothered by the request and TURNED the music up even louder. They started threatening me outside, I have never felt SO UNSAFE in a hostel, that's when I went back to the reviews and saw that they had ATTACKED WOMEN WITH BOTTLES AND STONES. I left the next morning, as quickly as possible, I feared for my life. Never go to this place!

Estafadores. Terrible higiene, colchones sucios e incómodos. Pésimo servicio. La realidad no corresponde a las fotos en internet. Me aumentaron 40% los costos acordados inicialmente. Pésima comida. Utilizaron amenazas y malos tratos. No vayan nunca a Casa Tropicalia.
