Travelodge Cardiff Airport

We have just got back from a three week stay at this hotel. There was nothing that we could complain about. From check in which went very smoothly to checking out everything was great. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel inside and out was spotlessly clean,tidy and smelt very fresh. Help was offered to carry our cases upstairs and we were always asked if everything was okay and did we need anything. The room was big and airy and had everything that we needed. The manager Annmarie was lovely and helpful and the supervisor Chris was always very pleasant to us. Very professional in his job and the standard of his work was way above anything that you could possibly imagine. Chris is a total credit to the company and because of him and the manager we are looking at coming again next year. We have also recommended this hotel to numerous people. Wow, what can I say. First off this is a cheap and cheerful Travelodge, do not go here if you are expecting luxury. However it is immaculate and has all the basics! It is quiet and relaxing considering how close you are to the road and airport. There is free parking. The biggest bonus though is the staff, i am so sorry I can't remember everyone's name, I do remember Chris. These guys are amazing, they are so friendly and helpful when you arrive, they introduce themselves and the team that are on and tell you everything you need to know. Their customer service is second to none, I've stopped in every type of hotel going and NOBODY has beaten these guys. And it wasn't a generic, rehersed script, they came across as genuine and authentic. Everytime you saw them they had a smile and a little chat. You kinda of forgot it was a travelodge as it was so personal. I don't know if Travelodge do awards but these guys need one. Personally I have had a difficult couple of months and took a trip to Cardiff after needing to have a change of scenery, these guys might not know the impact they have, but they absolutely made my weekend. We have stayed a number of times at Cardiff Airport Travelodge and the staff continue to be both extremely helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect for our needs when visiting family. Never been any issues with noise, cleanliness or maintenance faults. We had a comfortable sleep (once our 3 year old granddaughter had settled down). Having the Toby Carvery next door for main meals and breakfast is ideal.

Stayed here numerous times before our holiday abroad. Tried to book tonight ready for July 2025 and it's £249.99 for one night??. I can actually stay in a 5 star hotel with breakfast for the same price absolutely ridiculous. You forget the people that have supported you for years but because a band is playing in Cardiff u trebble the price, take advice people and go with small b&b like we have a quarter of the price includes breakfast.

Stayed in Rhoose Travelodge (Cardiff Airport) a number of times and am always greeted by the lovely staff! A special shout out to Chris, Natalie and Josh. I always need an accessible room and they are always professional and kind. A credit to the company.

Hotel room was very clean and comfortable , lovely location with toby carvery next door was a plus , staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful lovely welcome from Chris on reception on arrival , ear plugs for light sleepers and mints on front desk were a nice personal touch , will definitely stay again
