Battambang Resort

I really enjoyed my stay at this charming hidden resort. It is located a bit out of town, but that gives easy access to the surrounding countryside and villages. Great as a base for cycling around. The host was extremely welcoming and explained the area and attractions. The resort itself was lovely and I enjoyed my room and the facilities. Really recommend!

A really nice place to base yourself when in Battambang and great to stay for a few relaxing days without going out. It’s self contained with a very nice pool. I had a room with an air conditioning problem and they solved it promptly. Originally booked for three days but extended it by another two days whilst there. The pool is not saline as everyone seems to say. It’s an interesting shape and varies in depth from side to side and end to end which makes it suitable for little children and big adults! There is a good jacuzzi pool to relax in. Jets and bubbles. The rooms around the lake are really nice but the garden rooms are too. Some of the garden rooms are two floors but these didn’t seem to be in use during my stay.

We had stayed here in April 2015 with our four kids and had always wanted to come back. It is one of my favorite hotels/restaurants in the world. The whole place is lovely, the staff is so kind and helpful, the ambiance is refreshing, quiet, and beautiful, and every detail from the towels on the bed to everything in the room to the pool, food, restaurant, and service is perfect. We look forward to returning again!!

The entrance off the walled parking area is so understated, except for some beautifully planted pots, that I wasn’t sure we were in the right place until stepping through and turning to the desk where Sreynou greeted us warmly with excellent English. From there a quiet and spacious covered walk leads through the vegetation to the open air restaurant including tables where we ate dinner beside the large saline pool. The garden continues to unfold along stone paths to seemingly remote rooms a short distance away. On the west side is the colourful lily pond where we watched birds, fish and the occasional lizard while eating breakfast. Ridged bedroom ceiling and deep porches where sitting and looking out to the gardens becomes restful. Dinners and all day service are so good that I wonder why breakfast offerings are only basic but satisfactory. This is a very calm place that, for those of us who are normally very active travellers, can easily sit and listen or swim or watch nature or just walk around and absorb the very peaceful feelings this resort creates.

We stayed for 2 nights in this resort and found it very comfortable and a peaceful couple of days. We had a lake room which was lovely and gave a nice view of the lake & pool from the terrace where a few hours were spent sitting comfortably, reading and dozing! The room was spacious, comfortable, well furnished with a nice bathroom area and all expected amenities. The grounds of the resort are very green and the little veggie garden is nice to wander around. The on site restaurant is good and has a nice variety of dishes to keep you happy - a deserved good local reputation. The staff were excellent and very friendly and happy to organize any tours or transport needed - can't fault them. All in all we had a very pleasant and comfortable couple of days at Battambang Resort - mostly spent lazing around! - happy to recommend as a great choice when visiting Battambang.

The Resort is clean, staff friendly and accommodating when we needed something. Dining area was lovely and food was good with all the different menu options they offered.

Excellent room and hotel grounds, good food at the restaurant and very nice staff. They are ready to help you with any issues. Included in your stay is one tuk tuk drive to the city center. Small remark, we didn't get new towels (the old were taken away) and the room looked abandoned in the middle of cleaning, which was a bit of a strange sight to come back to. Positive extra: extensive Belgian beer selection!

Wonderful little luxury resort with a personal touch. The staff are friendly and attentive, the rooms are spacious and clean and the resort is just a super lush getaway. Oh, and let's not forget: the food is probably the best in all of Battambang! We spent 3 nights at the resort over Christmas and got to enjoy a lovely Christmas dinner there as well.

This is such a wonderful resort and restaurant. Especially the wide selection of Cambodian craft beers and the beautiful garden make this Resort a unique experience in Cambodia. If you visit Battambang, this is the place to stay. Friendly and English speaking staff. Very clean rooms.
