Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

Absolutely beautiful resort. We drove and arrived very late, staff was accommodating and got us to our room right away as we were very tired. Staff was top notch, room was immaculate and welcoming. Multiple pools to choose from, multiple restaurants to choose from. They offered fun family activities throughout the week that we stayed such as nightly movies, scavenger hunts, pool party, tie-dye shirts, plenty of arts and crafts to choose from for the week, so much fun! The only complaint we had was birds around the pool at the dig site kept pooping in the pool so the pool kept closing for maintenance. It was great that they kept closing to clean and re-check the pool pH it was just more annoying than anything because it had closed multiple times one day when it was 90° in very hot. Other than that everything was great! The cafeteria food was great and we also tried the three bridges restaurant which was excellent as well!

Hotel is Beautiful & location is Great. We had a standard 2 queen room which was pretty bare. Bed was fine, but just one armchair which was Very hard! We normally stay in a 2bedroom villa on property so this was a disappointment. The Mercado restaurant chicken bowl was Delicious, & Toledo Restaurant is Fabulous!!!

It was a very nice and clean place.

Decent Disney hotel. Great storage in the rooms. Mercado buffet style breakfast was decent, however it only opens at 7am, it should open at 6am for those early park opening hours. Also, the housekeeping service isn’t daily which is the main reason I stay at a hotel over a Villa so that is a shame. Bus service to parks was good. Comfortable beds.

We had a lovely stay here for the first week or so of our holiday in Orlando. The resort is beautiful, clean, and very large. A lovely lake in the middle, and some pools etc which we didn’t actually use as we were in fully Disney parks mode! The buses to the Disney parks are really easy to use - once we’d figured out which of the bus stops was the easiest to use. Also I’d say pay attention to the numbers of the blocks and rooms as it wasn’t the easiest to navigate through tired eyes. The rooms were on the smaller side but clean and nice. If I was going to be picky I’d say that the air con could have gone a bit colder as it was quite warm in the night and the windows didn’t open. They gave free refills of coffee if you had a refillable mug or a mug from your room. We only ate in the Barcelona lounge for a quick breakfast before the parks each morning and it was enough. There was also other restaurants and bars which we sadly didn’t have time to use. We did use the shop which was good. I would indeed stay again if returning to Florida.

Extremely disappointed. More disappointed that the staff at Coronado Springs missed opportunity to make things right. We had a long day, and many travel delays. We had a reservation but did not arrive to Coronado Springs until 11:45 pm. We get a room. Fantastic. Coronado is large and spread out. There was only one bell person on duty with a golf cart, so we hiked to our room with our luggage. It was a Casitas room, 0.5 miles from the main lobby. Arrive exhausted and ready for shower and bed. We had to be up early the next morning for a cheer competition at ESPN. Only once we open the door, we realize the room has not had housekeeping. It is completely unmade from the prior guest. I called guest services immediately. Their response was “I am sorry you are dissatisfied with your room. We will have a manager call you soon.” Fifteen minutes, no call back. So I call again. “I am sorry, we are fully booked, we will try to find you another room.” Ten more minutes. It is getting late. I call a third time. “…there is no manager available. You will have to wait for someone to call you back. “ I asked if I could walk back to main lobby to get another room, and was told yes, or they would send a runner to our room with keys so that we did not have to walk 20 minutes back to the lobby. Fifteen more minutes. A guy on a golf cart pulls up with people for the next room over. I ask if he is the one brining our new keys. He said no, but he would give us a ride to the lobby. Good thing, because when I was talking to him, I discovered the keys they gave me no longer worked and I was locked out of the room. Ride back to the main lobby. I am told they can move us for tonight, but they are fully booked, so we would have to move BACK to the first room in the morning, after housekeeping could clean it. I said I was ABSOLUTELY not moving rooms once we got settled. Guest services said I would need to take that up with a manager when they called me in the morning. Got to a clean-ish room by 2:30 am. Exhausted does not cover it. I say clean-ish because there was what appeared to be a rice crispy treat on the floor under the cabinetry. As concerned as I was about cleanliness and possible bugs attracted to open food on the floor, we just went to sleep. No manager ever called. We did not move rooms. No one offered to make us whole after the considerable inconveniences. I called guest services the next morning and asked to speak to a manager about my experience but was told no one was available. I gave up and focused on enjoying the rest of our time in Orlando. But I will NEVER stay again at Coronado Springs, and likely no other WDW Resort Hotel. Horrible service and no attention to guest relations.

I took my first solo trip to Disney World in April and chose Coronado Springs Resort for my stay. My sister and I had stayed there in 2018 and loved the resort. It was very quite, loved the room, comfortable beds, and the grounds are beautiful! The cast memebers were all awesome! I had the same experience on this trip! It will be my resort of choice whenever I go to Disney World! Food court has very good food as well! While there, I did not dine at any of the restaurants at the resort, mainly because I am at stay at the parks all day person and typically just eat at the parks!
