The Linden Leaf Rooms - Classy & Stylish

This company left me and my son stranded for 2 hours in the pouring rain. I paid for a month, did the deposit and they didn't send me a code for entry. For the entire 2 hours we waited in the cold and the rain. I had tons of luggages, they all got soaked because there was no room to get them out of the rain. After waiting while being on the phone with them, yelling at them, ASKING how they can do this to us, I booked another room in another "real" hotel and left because we were worried will be stranded outside all NIGHT. It is hard finding hotel rooms in Nottingham as it is, I had to think of our safety. So I paid over a 1000 pounds and the company is refusing to give my money back. No service provided, I never stepped into the room, because they didn't let me in. I did not breach the non refundable policy, since I was there, I didn't change my mind I showed up. Yet this company doesn't take responsibility and doesn't acknowledge the fact that it was THEIR fault, and refuses to give me my hard earned money back. Not to talk about my luggages soaked through, and we were freezing and shivering. I'd stay away from this fake hotel they are rude and they will steal your money even if you didn't do anything wrong. There are many nice hotels and air bnb in the area, some even cheaper. PS. While we were waiting some people who booked there entered and said they did this to us too. I'd go choose anything else but this place. But again it's your call. As for me I'm staying away from them. Never again. Completely traumatized

There was chewing gum me and my partner found in one of the beds in room 3. Found it attached to my leg hair. Not only this but half a bottle of CO-OP brandy was found next to the bedside table, which if I’m honest isn’t a big issue. The only issue is it indicates to us that cleaning is definitely not properly done. This worries me that the sheets were actually washed in the first place upon our arrival. Another issue is the fire alarm went off for around 20 minutes. Me and another guest had to figure out how to turn the alarm off. With no one actually physically managing the hotel it’s just an absolute mess of a situation. I was thankful for allowing us to move rooms due to the broken radiator but it does get over shadowed by the chewing gum incident.

Appalling. My 1 star is generous! Now an Air B&B. New owner clearly just making a fast buck and does not care. Not as described or pictured on Air B&B. Not safe, glass front door is not an external door (flimsy), dirty, poor quality, cheap fittings and fixtures. Very noisy location. Heating not working properly, Multiple occupancy building. Bathroom awful.

It was cheap (I was expecting cheerful) but it was definitely cheap in everyway possible:( I will say though they gained a star for the customer service, as I couldn't get my keysafe to open and they did call me to talk through it (just so happened I managed it myself whilst on hold, I did feel a bit of a plonker lol but I could at least speak to a human, i would prefer a manned hotel next time tho. The room smelt damp, crack in the bath, cracks in the walls/ceiling and paint scuffs and to top it off the people downstairs were smoking ****

I suggest that they change their Web page .lt is so far out of date that it's not funny.Linden Leaf is nothing more than 10 rooms spread over 3 o4 floors ,hard to tell as it's more of a maze than anything else.The bed comfortable and ensuite was clean so OK for 2 nights F

Felt compelled to write a review after seeing many bad reviews about this place. Only bad things about the hotel is that they tell you how to get in the main door, and the code to get into your key box outside your room, but not which room you're in. Only 10 rooms though, so even if it's the last box you try (like me), it takes around 5 mins max. Shower pressure not great, and took a little while to warm up, plus a panel had fallen off in the bathroom and was laying on the floor, but hardly things that are gonna ruin your entire trip. Beds were comfortable, pretty quiet place, no staff for check in or out but fresh towels and bed stuff is available. TV with free Netflix, tea and coffee stuff, microwave and fridge all in the room. Perfect adequate place to stay and would stay again.

I booked at room at the Linden Leaf Hotel in Beeston and received a confirmation email a few days ago. When I turned up the Hotel was closed, phone line disconnected and the website said the Hotel was closed. They took my money and didn't even have the courtesy to let me know the Hotel was shut. I was completely stranded. Appealing behaviour from a business.
