Dear all,
I booked my Orange Hotel (Beijing South Railway Station) "Sunshine Room" on 7-11/11/2023 for my trip to Beijing and checked in as usual, a woman who seemed senior staff surfed and registered emotionlessly... anyway, my colleague registered faster with a pack of toothpaste given but nothing from that woman, that gave me a rather poor impression already.
I simply left my luggage and went out from dinner and back to the room at about 9:30 pm. Later I found the room was getting hotter and hotter, even I counter-checked with the air-con control panel which couldn't help at all! I called the staff there for help on my 1st night,
1. the staff (a young boy) came to my room after at least 30 minutes of my 1st phone call while I was making my 3rd phone call!
2. that staff didn't know the failed, malfunctioning air-con of those Sunshine Rooms and just tuned the wind lower, I doubted that already but he said it would be fine! ok, then and I wait~~! But same as the normal common sense that it just didn't help at all!
3. I made my phone call again and asked the staff to rearrange another room, even smaller one would also be okay for me but he replied no room was left!
4. finally I was very lucky to be helped by another staff there who called Mr.單 as he simply and directly helped me to change to another room, letting me know what happened to the Sunshine rooms I want to thank him for his help.
p.s. I paid for a superior room and finally changed to a normal room, with the help from Mr.單 again that he typed a lot to the dammed auto-system so I could finally get my little refund finally
Overall, it is poor management with failed handle and a suck location (need to walk about 10mins from the Beijing South Railway Station), I won't stay at Orange Hotel (Beijing South Railway Station) again.!
