Tucked away from main roads in Medix Run, this custom-built A-Frame cabin provides a peaceful, wooded environment with plenty of parking and privacy. Nestled in beside the creek, guests are invited to relax beside the fire pit or enjoy outdoor activities in the spacious yard. Indoor accommodations provide room for 6 to sit around the dining room table or lounge in the living room. Upstairs, the open-floor concept allows sleeping for 6 with two queen beds and two single beds with a comfortable couch available in the living room for an extra guest. The newly renovated bathroom offers a full tub/shower. WiFi is available for WiFi calling and TV streaming. Within 5 miles of the Elk Visitor Center, this location offers access to Elk Country's biggest attractions, small businesses, local distilleries, wineries, and restaurants. This is the perfect setting for easy access to outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, hiking, or just enjoying nature. The road into the property is well kept; low profile vehicles are welcome. Great place to stay
Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. Beautiful and quiet place. Owners were extremely nice and even mailed me something I forgot. Great outdoor area for fire and relaxing. Will be looking to stay again.

Visiting for Celebration of Life at Elk Visitor Center
Location great for going back and forth to see the Elk and us needing to be near for the Celebration of Life.Only issue we had was figuring out the Heat/AC. Couldn't adjust and wasn't sure how to change the temperature.We stayed one night previously in September, so we knew what to expect at the rental, and made it easy for use to stay one night again for this occasion.Thanks for sharing your vacation cabin with us!!Angie, Mitch and Dylan

Minor difficulties
Too short advance notice to bring correct sized sheets and log in info for personal streaming services, lower water pressure, living area chilly, May experience no Wi-Fi in this area so may have difficulty finding rental

We love this cabin! Clean, has all you need inside and out, peaceful, the hosts are fantastic. In my rush before leaving, I forgot to write down cabin code. We drove a couple miles to get service, called them and they provided the cabin number. For some reason I wasn’t on website but they were so nice about me calling. We really enjoyed ourselves and recommend this cabin. Thank you!!

Slice of Heaven
Our family wanted to enjoy some time in the Benezette area and watch wildlife. We couldn't have found a more perfect home away from home if we had tried! This cozy A-frame was perfect for our needs and was very spacious. There were plenty of deer to watch at the property and the scenic elk drive and visitors center was just minutes from the property.
This well-appointed cabin was the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature at it's finest. While we cooked our own meals at the cabin, there are plenty of places nearby to dine or grab a quick bite. We loved the campfire ring near the water. If you don't want to cook in the kitchen, there is also a grill and smoker available for use.
The hosts were receptive to questions and were quick to answer us our questions. Having wifi at the cabin was also a plus since there isn't cell service readily available.
Enjoy this little slice of Heaven on Earth that is close to many activities yet secluded where you can rest and relax. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Great place!
Perfect for a short trip to Elk Country. Close to visitor center. The house was absolutely sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Loved it.

Quiet get away
I had a wonderful time, the cabin was warm and cozy. The cabin was spotless. I’m definitely coming back next year, I would highly recommend it to my friends but I want to keep it a secret lol
