Hotel Basant Vihar Palace

We stayed here for a family wedding. This was our place of stay before the main functions started. We later shifted to Heritage Resort for the main functions. While that one is more spacious, this was situated bang in the middle of the city. The rooms were comfortable and functional. Hot water was an issue, one has to wait 10mins or more to get hot water, all the while wasting tap water. One of the days the AC vent started stinking of dead animal and after 2-3 hours the staff retrieved a dead rat from the overhead shaft! The room had to be aired to get rid of the smell. Food was good and the Tea was amazing. We had taken buffet breakfast and they did refill the spread even after the time of breakfast was over. Thankful for this as the family members (guests) kept trickling at their own pace.

Overall it's a good property but rooms need better maintenance as there were seepages on the wall. Another downside is that they don't have a swimming pool in the hotel. The ***agement should seriously consider building a swimming pool as there is huge open space inside the hotel campus. Food is very nice and quite tasty but they serve only vegetarian food and the options in the breakfast buffet is very limited.

Good hotel. Clean and well maintained. Nice location.All places of Bikaner can be easily accessed from here. Good staff. Ample parking space. Rooms are spacious, washrooms big and equipped with all amenities. Well maintained garden. Overall a recommended place to stay.

Excellent... Service is very good and ambience is just awesome . All the satff in the hotel very kind to me and also helped me out with my issues if any ... Thank you for the wonderful service.. very happy and satisfied ❤️

Had a very memorable and enjoyable stay at this palace hotel. Was a participant in a conference and had to stay for 4 nights. The staff including the GM (Mr. ***n Nagarajan) and his deputy (Mr. Himmat Singh) went out of the way to ensure that the stay was comfortable and pleasant. During the conference we had a few outdoor activities on the lawns of the palace hotel grounds, that were top notch, including exposure to the local culture, food and artistry. The rooms are spacious and very luxurious with all creature comforts. The hotel also arranged a factory visit to see how ' Bikaneri sev' is made, which was a great experience. The staff at the hotel took care of the smallest of things including arranging taxi for local sightseeing and even getting shoes polished after a visit to the sand dunes. The food served at breakfast, lunch and dinner was healthy and nutritious too. This is a visit that I will always remember and will definitely go back with family sometime in the future

Good hotel it was, very nice and clean. We were on long roadtrip and took our first night halt here @ Basant Vihar. Checkin was smooth, room was clean and comfy with all amenities in place and heater working well (was a must for me). Staff was friendly and helped us know more about the Hotel which was earlier a property of the Royal family, took us around and showed us the Maharaja's rooms - was very nice. Restaurant food was super spicy and was super delicious - must try to experience Bikaneri flavors. Special thanks to Ravinder Ji who helped us from choosing our food dishes to planning our next day itinery at Bikaner. All in all a good place to stay, highly recommended. Tip: When visiting Junagarh Fort take guide Wasim- he was super helpful, shared all the details about the fort very nicely and helped us see the beautiful Rampuria Haveli.

The hotel was lovely, the restaurant food and staff are absolutely fabulous, spotlessly clean... Really helpful.... The downside was that there were several weddings not mentioned upon booking, so out of 4 nights stay we only had 1 night's sleep!
