This fully updated, fully furnished, quiet log home is located in the Black Forest in Colorado Springs and just a couple of miles from great hiking and biking at the Pinery and Section 16 Trail. It sits back on the lot to insure privacy and a quiet stay. The property is surrounded by fences, a well lit sidewalk, and motion sensors, which allow for a secure, safe stay. Wake up hearing the birds in this quiet home situated on the back of an 8-acre lot. This home is neighbors to our guest cottage, also on the property (inquire to book both for larger parties!) Walking into the home you will immediately notice the authentic log home structure with exposed posts and beams. This home was built in the 70's but has been newly renovated to accommodate all of you and your families needs. The living room is flanked by large windows facing Pikes Peak. Walk directly into the dining room where you will be greeted by a charming wood burning stove and large sliding glass doors to let nature in. The kitchen overlooks the dining room with a large peninsula. There is a big window over the sink to watch the herd of deer grazing every evening while you do dishes. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and is stocked with everything you need, including spices, to create a family meal. There is a half bath on the main level as well. There is also a 65" tv in the living room equipped with the most current streaming services. Head upstairs where you will find a game room- there is a fooseball ball table and a table that has games for the family. Off the game room is the bunk room with a full over full bunk and a twin trundle. This bedroom is connected to the primary bedroom via the jack and jill bathroom. It also has a second entrance through the game room. The primary bedroom is luxurious in that it has its own balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. It has a 65" tv complete with streaming services, breathtaking views of Pikes Peak (enjoy them from the comfort of your own bed!), a leather chair and ottoman, and a leather large bean bag that converts into a queen sleeper for the kiddos. Head to the basement where you will find a second living room to relax and hang out, a full size washer and dryer, a bathroom with shower/ tub, and three bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed and tv with streaming services, the other two have queen size beds. This is a unique and beautiful home that will make you feel like you are in Colorado. Both the Pellet Stove and Fire Stove aren't available for use.
