The Alondra Hotel

As ever, the trip to Alondra was lovely. Sarah stopping by for a chat, letting us know where everything was, and letting us having some doggy therapy with Beau after breakfast. D is already counting the days to our next visit in July as he loves that dog so much!

We have just spent Saturday night at The Alondra Hotel. Very easy to find in a central part of Blackpool. There is on-street parking but none was available at the time, but there are several car parks within a couple of minutes of the hotel. Sarah welcomed me at the front door and after a short explanation of the key system and timings for the breakfast and bar, showed me to our room. We had specifically asked for a ground floor room and our request was honoured. Very clean & tidy at first glance, so we unpacked and made our way to the seafront which is about 5 minutes walk. On returning to the hotel, we popped down in to the bar and had a couple of drinks and a lovely chat with Sarah before heading for bed. We both had a good nights sleep after trekking the length & breadth of the seafront and promenade all day. After a hot shower the following morning, (there were toiletries & nice towels provided in the shower room), breakfast was staggered (as there was a large family party staying) which meant that not everyone arrived at the same time - a brilliant idea. There was lots of choice to help yourself from, so we had fruit juice & cereals, followed by a big Full English each. We were offered a choice of boiled, fried or poached eggs which we thought was fantastic considering that Sarah was doing everything herself. Tea, coffee, toast & butter was plentiful. A great start to the day ! We would definitely return to The Alondra if we come back to Blackpool again and would like to thank Sarah for being such a lovely host !

This b&b is just like home from home. Our room was first floor with en suite bathroom, overall a clean, friendly hotel. Nice breakfast with good choice was included. Good central location with parking 2 mins walk away in a pay and display 24hr carpark.

Beds very comfy shower wasn’t the best but I wouldn’t complain about that, breakfast was very nice, very friendly, and great location, would recommend to anyone very nice stay, Sarah was always around if needed anything,,always willing to help.

As a single mother of two teenage girls we stay every year in blackpool and this year we could only get space at the Alondra,and as it was one of my girls 14th birthday trip and I'm very glad we did, We was welcomed very warmly by Sarah the owner after explaining the rules and breakfast time slot , we headed to our room to find a lovely lavender themed room with matching colours in the bathroom (Shower) , plenty of towels available and more if we wanted them , plenty of toiletries if you forget your own . We had a lovely surprise the next morning at breakfast Sarah had decorated our table with birthday decs which made it more special, the breakfast was made to your order by Stuart I presume, and was absolutely delicious. Half downstairs was the bar area the drink prices were very good, they also had a separate lounge were you could sit and watch TV or sit and play family games or just sit in peace. The location of the B&B is so close to the tower and coral island amusements you can jump the tram to the pleasure Beach or other attractions. The B&B also allows you to order food in ( we walked to get a McDonald's)they just ask you don't eat it in your room which is fair enough. My girls also asked if we could stay there again as they loved it. And so did I.....

We stayed for two nights at the Alondra whilst in town for the Blackpool v Forest match. It is very well located, minutes from the tower, the nightlife and the shopping area and about a 20 minute walk to the football ground. Sarah was a great host for whom nothing was too much trouble, including accommodating our request for a light early breakfast so we go and do the local parkrun on the Saturday morning. Rooms were clean, beds comfy and the shower was fine. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. Overall a very pleasant stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stop again if in the area.

Found this fab little place online and booked a 3 night stay originally for 4 adults to visit Blackpool lights. Due to Avanti west coast trains messing us about with return travel, we then had to amend our booking to 2 nights. Was a real shame as its a brilliant, traditional little place in a fantastic location near to everything. Sarah was super, very friendly, kind and helpful and made us so welcome. Safe, clean and cosy rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was great, and there were options for evening dinner and drinks if we wanted. Due to our needing to cram 3 days of itinerary into 2,we didn't end up eating dinner or having evening drinks but we definitely would have if we'd have had time. Would stay again.

Stayed here with my family and couldn’t have been treated better.Hospitality second to none,breakfast brilliant,and hosts Sarah and Stuart really lovely people also great location definitely recommend.
