Travel Plaza Hotel

Judging by the reviews I didn't know what to expect but it was clean, fresh,spacious and had branded tea and coffee facilities. I had a great night sleep and would definitely stay again . Well worth the price and the breakfast was lovely.

Very nice hotel. Clean and spacious room. Situated next to fabulous Italian restaurant.(would stay there for that). Only criticism was the bed which was rickety and really needs replacing (room 122) . Otherwise value for money. Will book again when the price is right.

So disappointed from when you enter the building it is old fashioned and had an odd smell as though they had sprayed some bad air freshener The room was tired wallpaper picked off the towel had stains on it and the vent in the bathroom was dirty The pillows were cheap and thin the bed was uncomfortable and the curtains hung badly Do not stay here even if it is cheaoer than other places It is milsa from anywhere and at least £25 taxi ride to Kettering station It also has a busy road outside

Stayed here in January this year as my normal hotel was fully booked. On arrival I was confused as to where to enter as there is two entrances, one to a restaurant which was closed so thought hotel was closed, the smell on arrival was awful! It was a mixture of spices and incense sticks.. not in a good way. I stayed in a ground floor room, bed was ok apart from was on wheels and had laminate floor so every time you move it moves on the floor. I decided to order food and went for fish and chips. This was the worst food without doubt I have ever eaten. The fish was so over cooked there was actually no fish left on the inside of the batter. The chips were dry and tasteless. I have attached a photo as per below. The chap in the restaurant next door which I think is part of the hotel was so rude! He didn’t speak when asked questions and threw my food on the counter. The service was terrible. On the night it was very windy and there was a lot of ‘things’ stored outside of my window which was making a lot of noise all through the night. I didn’t stay for breakfast as I was leaving at 7am and they didn’t open early enough. This was similar for other guests staying. I would genuinely avoid this hotel. I certainly won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anybody else.

Some of the nicest and most friendly staff I've met in any hotel nice atmosphere and ambient lighting. So helpful and mindful of different types of people. Room had snacks and plenty coffee and tea and decent sized fridge. Fresh and clean towels and amazing shower either freezing or roasting. Rotating fan on wall thank god because the heat was overwhelming so this helped a tonne. Close and local to shops and stuff only 5 mins in car. I can't rate this hotel highly enough worth every penny.

Worst hôtel ever the manager was awful. Awful custumer service. The room are dirty and cold. The woman at the reception are very rude and the guy just constantly. If you looking for a minimum of hygiene don't go there. Is nothing around. The room are way too expensive for what is it during the night its very creepy to stay in this place.
