San Servolo Wellness Resort - Adults Only

I rarely leave reviews, but our experience at San Servolo this year was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share. We booked this campsite for a return visit, having had a great stay in the past. We were expecting the same quality and family-friendly atmosphere we remembered — but unfortunately, things have changed, and not for the better. Upon arrival, we were informed that children are no longer allowed in the main pool areas. Instead, they’re limited to a small kiddie pool that’s so shallow it’s not even possible to swim. It was incredibly frustrating to realize that we couldn’t enjoy the pool as a family — something that had been a highlight during our previous visits. What upset us most is that this policy wasn’t mentioned during the booking process or in any of the communication beforehand. Had we known, we would have chosen a different destination. Throughout the resort, the general attitude toward children felt cold and unwelcoming. The restaurant staff didn’t seem pleased to see families, and there was a clear sense that kids were simply tolerated rather than embraced. It made the entire stay feel uncomfortable and out of place. Adding to the frustration: while children are restricted, dogs seem to have free rein — including urinating all over the campsite, which we saw multiple times during our stay. Smoking is also common throughout the grounds, making the contrast in rules and priorities feel even more unbalanced. When we raised our concerns, we were told nothing could be done because we had already checked in. For families traveling with children, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. San Servolo is no longer the welcoming place it once was.

Really nice place with excellent location, overviewing both the sea and the old town. They have a pizzeria and a steakhouse too, so you don’t have to leave for dinner. Staff is really nice and helpful. We were in the adults only resort, the room is spacious and clean. There are more wellness facilities with heated pool, jacuzzis and saunas. Must try is their beer spa, where you can drink unlimited beer from tap, highly recommended! 👍🏼

Very nice resort! Wide greenery! Vast breakfast offer. Great cocktails by the pool. We reserves this hotel on booking since it was an adults only but when we arrived, we realized that only the indoor pool and spa (of course) were adults only. Unfortunately it doesn’t make much sense if everywhere else was fool of children, especially the outdoor pool. We obviously didn’t read the description well.. The indoor pool was nice and the sauna. Huge suit with big terrace.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and it was an excellent experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. Vera Jurišić was the most professional and kindest at all. She should be definitely a managing director!!! The breakfast was varied and very delicious. The hotel's location is perfect. We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

One of the best camping places we ever have visited - nice and clean with plastic grass on the parcels and they were cleaned regularly. The toilets are nice and clean and the swimmingpool with massage is also very nice.

Well it is quite a nice location but. Yes a big but. For example bathroom in luxury room. Glass wall between bedroom and bathroom so all the sounds are not overheard. Ladies forget on makeup as there is no light over mirror. Anyway do not take room 206 as you will enjoy the noise from laundry room vent. Yes they are friendly and all is new and well maintained but....
