Aparthotel Ona Cala Pi Club

We came from California and stayed for 1 week. Be prepared to be nickeled and dimed for everything. They only give you 6 towels and if you want more they will charge you. You only get 1 room key, if you want another you have to pay. You have to rent beach towels. Here is what you dont get in your room that would have been helpful: Coffee or filters, papertowels, dishwashing soap, kleenex, ice cube trays or a spatula, ice cube trays. they cleaning kit only comes with a sponge, a drying towel and 2 tablets to wash clothes. Excellent location. Stunning cove and beach. Enjoyed the 164 steps down to the beach. Not so much coming back up . Resort clean and tidy . Apartments large and bright although a bit dated. Kids club on site . Samuel. And Lorenza. Keep the kids and adults amused. . Found all staff friendly. Breakfast was superb. And dinner had good choices. Was there for 14 days. Took a seven day half board. Option. Split over 14 days . A few bars and restaurants nearby Nix Nax. One by one. Good and reasonable prices. Sa Terressa. Bit more expensive. TiB. 505 leaves for Palma 5 times daily if you use a bank card it is cheaper. Onward travel to other resorts from bus station . A car is recommended if you want to tour island. We were happy using the bus. We will return.

We had an amazing stay. Reception was amazing, Carlos and his Crew are hyper professional and always there when needed. The apartment is so large and very clean. There is also a Kids Club “Ona Kids” Lorenza and Samuel are so kind, my girls, especially the youngest can’t wait that they open in the morning and for the Kids Disco at 8PM. The breakfast and Dinner buffet is amazing. So much choice. Thank you so much to the whole team. It was I stay me and my girls will never forget

The residence is very well situated with a wonderful view on Cala Pi. This residence is situated in a very quiet area, is a bit old but well maintained, some renovation work would improve it a lot, e.g. new shutters. We had a two separate bedrooms appartement with a living room equipped with a sofa bed, and a small kitchen. The furniture were sparse, a bit old but all well maintained, some arm-chairs would have been appreciated in the living room. The appartement was opening on a terrasse with a direct access to the wonderful garden of the residence and the two swimming-pools & Jacuzzi. The persons at the reception were very nice and friendly as well as the cleaning ladies and the gardener.

The breakfast restaurant is horrible. No hand sanitizer, not enough plates and glances - so the personnel stress handwash silverware and glasses at the bar but. The hygiene of the restaurant is non existent! No cloth over the bread - so everybody touches the bread with dirty hands. The room had a really bad smell of mould. We had long-tailed silverfish, ants and cockroach in the room - so disgusting. Not really the kind of creatures you want to bring back home to your home. The couch and the chair in the living room was so nasty that we didn’t want to sit in it - we got sheets to cover it up. The beds are horrible as well. How this place ended up on booking with a rate of 8.8 - I have no idea. We will never go there again.

We were here for a full week in early October and, as there are only a few restaurants around the area, we paid for half-board for the period and had no regrets. We had a hire car and spent little time in the hotel. There was no evening entertainment at this month which was a disappointment but the tv did have a dozen English channels. We had exchanged through Interval and although we were only a couple, the exchange was for a two bed apartment, lounge, kitchen, bathroom, utility, a sea facing balcony and even a sun-bathing and bbq area on the roof. All were in good condition and it would have been great for a family in warmer months. The room was cleaned once mid-week with clean sheets and towels. The buffet restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Very few British visitors and food choices are aimed more at the majority German, French and Spanish. A large paella was prepared each night with lots of other fish/seafood/meat alternatives. Desserts were numerous and delicious. The chefs did an amazing job keeping all the sections replenished. We enjoyed every meal. The staff throughout the hotel were cheerful, friendly and helpful. The beach is very scenic and popular with the locals, particularly at weekends, which makes street parking difficult. We managed to find spaces each time but it must very frustrating in peak periods. Later in the week we saw that there was paid underground hotel parking available. There is a bus that links to Palma several times daily. We stayed mainly within a thirty minute drive of Cala Pi visiting Llucmajor, S’Arenal, Santanyi and smaller villages and local visitor sites such as the nearby Talaiot ruins at Capocorp Vell, Botanicactus and Artestruz (ostrich farm) Altogether we had a very enjoyable week here.
