The hotel is spotlessly clean and staff very helpful. The sea views are stunning but two major drawbacks prevent this hotel being anything but only three star. The beds are hard and it is difficult to sleep. Despite there being a warning not to leave towels on sunbeds to reserve them because there is a shortage of sunbeds with matresses guests queue at a rediculous hour and then rampage to get a bed. When we challenged desk staff the answer was that the mattresses were in order. Despite a two week stay we did not see any more matresses for loungers. Food was adequate but not four star or very exciting.

Excellent location as for the rest of it extremely poor staff food very poor staff attitude terrible this hotel only survived because of its location would not recommend it apart from its location have been here a few times, but don’t expect much

The hotel is in a great position and very central, room is quite comfortable, but whilst on holiday here - half board for 1 week I lost 7lbs in weight!!! on holiday. We have stayed here many times and the food has been poor for years, management always tell you they will look into the matter but nothing changes. I may get the pre-printed reply saying they will look into the matter, but nothing will change.

Another fantastic stay, Very pleased again with this hotel...1stAnniversary We really enjoyed the food again... Lots of choices, high quality & great service. The entertainment staff did a brilliant job of getting the guests involved with the games... Both Dana and Alex were fun, full of energy and went above and beyond to make everyone's holiday memorable... A big thanks to you guys Guys, staff here are some of the most pleasant & efficient you could want on holiday, if you just take the time to say hi & converse... This is a Tui hotel during peak season and 99% filled with brits.. It was embarrassing to watch some people's attitude & lack of manners towards some staff... If You want pleasantries & good service remember it works both ways !! Previous feedback This was our first time to Majorca... We came here for our honeymoon it was nothing short of fantastic... We were staying in 218 and the room was ready at 11am when we arrived... Lovely vista looking out across the sea and beach from the balcony We had a twin room, ample space enough for me and my wife, plenty of storage space and a low, pool facing room (like we asked for)...It was very clean the safe is 5 euros a day which I think is too high, maybe a small set price for the total stay would be fairer. All the staff have been very courteous and friendly and willing to help with questions in English and my poor attempt at spanish The bar staff are plentifully on both the outside (daytime till 6pm) and indoor (after 6pm) bars, they are very quick to serve, Yes the cocktails are pre mixed but you only have to ask for it strong and they will put in extra spirits.. @No charge If a Long line forms it's gone in a very short time… We timed it and it took just under a minute to serve 6 people to 2 drinks each !! The extended dining hall is filled with lots of staff busy clearing the tables, serving hot grilled items & filling the buffet areas They are very professionally dressed and all do a really fantastic job. The reception staff have been really helpful & got us all processed very quickly, They are very friendly & happy to help with questions ect... The snack bar is all inclusive & does a big range of freshly cooked to order items, You can taste & feel the quality of the burgers, hot dogs, onion rings, & many more tasty food items "Ehusabion" did a great job for us everyday. A Selection of cakes and ice-creams are also available from the snack back Inc'd in the all inclusive. Cold Filtered Water is readily available from the bars and in the dining hall for all inclusive guests and tastes better than the none branded one we got from the shop !! Globules Santa Lucia Hotel General When checking in and paying €92 tourist tax for 2 weeks I then find out I have to pay €10 per day plus a deposit for a safe. The fact that your valuables cannot be guaranteed safety unless you pay this €10 feels like blackmail. The safes do not cost the hotel anything so they should not charge the customers. I hated looking at an open wardrobe for two weeks, it looked untidy, they need doors. I do not like the glass bathroom doors in this hotel, bring back the old wooden doors with locks to preserve dignity. Whilst there are quite a few tv channels, there is no ITV even though it is listed. Pool Area The decking on the sun deck is filthy, my towels, bags and anything that touched the floor became covered in the orange dust. I had pool towels which cost €10 deposit, fair enough but if I wanted to change the filthy towels for clean ones I had to pay €1 for the privilege, I know that’s not much but guests should not have to pay for the dirty floors, especially when there is nowhere to put bags etc. except for the floor, even small tables between the sun beds would help. I frequently found I had to gather litter, dirty cups and glasses from the decking area where we wanted to sit. Unacceptable. The sun beds are very uncomfortable, they are hard and there is a metal bar across them part way down, if you are going to provide these sun beds then they need cushions. The parasols are pretty tatty and some were broken, not what you expect from a 4* hotel. Dining It’s that old chestnut I’m afraid, cold plates and cold food. Sometimes the plates were warm but it is a bit of a lottery. The food is a bit of a let down, I first came to this hotel over 30 years ago and the food was amazing, it was the type of hotel you wanted to come back to year after year. The show cooking was a total let down, the fried chicken, lamb, pork and beef was really tough, the roast joints looked almost slimy in the middle, not cooked to the standard I would expect. The buffet was better, at least you had a few options to choose from but I usually ended up with salad and chips. There were a few nice choices though, I did enjoy the chilli-con-carne, the lasagne and the spaghetti bolognaise. My husband enjoyed the prawns which came up about once a week. The cakes were very nice too, though one day there were ants on one of the deserts. One other thing, I wish they would label the food, if you know what is it then you are more likely to eat it but where there were a couple of labels they were completely wrong, for example, iceberg lettuce was above the cheese and ham? Please change the music in the dining room, it is the same tape playing on an endless cycle for breakfast and dinner. So monotonous. I would like to mention a young lady, Patricia in the dining room, she was very attentive, pleasant and helpful. She noticed our table wobble nearly spilling our drinks so she came over and wedged a piece of cork under the offending table leg. I was
