Green Village Mekong

Such an idyllic spot in the Mekong; perfect for relaxing after the bustle of Hanoi or Saigon. We've stayed here many times and will continue to return! The bungalows have been redone and are huge - ours had two large beds with mozzie nets and a big tiled corner bath. Both ceiling fan and aircon available. The homestay provides brekky and dinner, and the dinners in particular are fabulous and huge! We did many bike rides around the area, and also enjoyed a trip to Mùa Xuân nature reserve with Trân and Nhi. The staff here are all beautiful and so helpful - how can we not come back again? 💜

Beautiful resort on a Mekong canal. The bungalows are fantastic: spacious, clean and cozy. There is a fridge and air conditioning in the room. There is also the possibility of having lunch. In the common area there is a swimming pool and a billiard table. They organize various excursions on the Mekong Delta

We enjoyed our stay at Green Village Mekong. The hotel arranged transit from Ben Tre + to HCMC, as well as a fantastic early morning tour of the Cai Rang floating market. The location of the bungalows next to the river is perfect for relaxing and we enjoyed taking out the bikes around the neighborhood. I would highly recommend the floating market tour: floating down the river at dark and eating crab soup on the boat were some of our trip's highlights. Our guide Ni was so informative, welcoming, and helpful. Thank you!

This is a small family run accommodation, with home cooked meals and a personal touch. The family were friendly, with the 2 younger ladies having good English. The room was lovely, and although we chose an air con room which was described as being first floor and not on the water, this did it an injustice. It was up about 5 steps onto the verandah, and although the verandah wasn't sticking out OVER the water (as some of the rooms were), it was right next to the water and facing it. So we were very pleased. I guess the room was a little on the small side, but it was perfectly fine for our needs, with a comfortable bed and good air con. I don't think staff came inside the room at all during our stay, but they did leave fresh towels outside for us each day. We had fun trying out the kayaks one day, for the life of me I don't know how we didn't fall in as it was so wobbly on getting in! We also used the hotel's free bikes, which was great. They gave us a map of where to go, to get to Can Tho itself, and talked us through it to ensure we were clear. I was then able to easily follow the route on Google Maps. We really enjoyed the cycle trip, it was a good chance to venture out on our own, and to explore Can Tho. We were asked each day to confirm what time we wanted to eat, I guess with it being home cooked food it helped them to plan ahead. All food was delicious, you didn't choose from a menu - which I hadn't realised, so was a bit alarmed when food just was brought to the table on our first evening, as I am vegetarian and my husband is not very adventurous with his food! But they had remember I had noted being veggie on my booking and had done me something specially, and we both really enjoyed our food. They had an honesty system for drinks, where you helped yourself, and wrote down on bit of paper what you had consumed. Then at the end they used that to create your bill. The only small thing I'd say is that I hadn't realised from the online photos, that there is actually nowhere near the pool to sit and sunbathe. It wasn't a big deal for us, we still took a couple of dips in the pool, but had we intended to stay more nights we'd have definitely been a bit disappointed there. All in all we loved staying here, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We stayed here for two nights in october 2023. We’re a family from Denmark with three children aged 6, 10 and 13. If you don’t expect luxury this is a really nice place with amazing value for money. We had a room with two fans which was pretty basic and with some faults but worked okay for us. The new pool is nice and staff very friendly 🏊 what really surprised us was the great breakfast and dinner and a really cozy atmosphere. Incredible that dinner is included in the price. A morning tour to the floating marked was very interesting with a great guide 👍

A wonderful two night stay at Green Village. The surrounds are so peaceful it's a great place to relax and put your feet up. The included breakfast and dinner were both enjoyable. We took a boat ride to the floating market organized by them which has been a highlight of our trip. We had a wonderful guide and would definitely recommend the experience. The pool is lovely and the grounds are well kept. Bicycles to borrow to cycle around by the river and to the nearest market. This was very peaceful and the locals were all very friendly with lots of the children excited to say hi! We had a lovely stay and would enjoy another visit.
