Résidence Pierre & Vacances Cannes Verrerie

Unfortunately I booked this apartment not realising it didn't have any AC (my fault), however after kindly asking to cancel the booking and get refunded within 24hrs of making my booking I was told that it wasn't possible. Having explained the reason why i.e it was unusually warm at that time of year and I had a 2year old child who would need AC. I was told that no refund was possible. I accepted this, However after making the booking I was then asked if I wanted bedding for a further €40, after cancelling the booking I was told that I wasn't eligible for a refund on sheets and towels that I hadn't even used. Long story short these people who manage this property have the WORST customer service, are rude and I advise anyone thinking of staying here to go elsewhere. Disgusting behaviour. AND looking at the other reviews there are many many others who feel the same. STAY AWAY

Terrible overall, we did not stay. Left upon checking in. The front desk was helpful Very hard to find the reception upon arrival. Is a huge complex, shared with other hosts. It is more like residential buildings, looked very creepy and unsafe. Very outdated, old…. bad crowd everywhere, like street trash….the room was with no double queen or king beds…. old apartments We left right away

Avoid this place, ITS OLD!!! no customer service, no soap, no dishwashing cloth, no salt, no napkins  there is absolutely nothing for living ( except some toilet paper ) . First thing guest needs to do is to go to the store .  no  umbrella on the terrasse  which makes terrasee unusable during the day because of the sun .  This palce does not offer refund because refund is the first thing you think about when you enter the room ( or even getting to your room for the first time ). Its just horrible. It seems as though the owner decided to squeeze as much as possible from this "property" without investing a dime and then kill it ( 4th day here and I havent seen even 1 person who works here . Stahy away.,

This property id nothing like as advertised. The location is terrible, the site is old and dirty, and the place felt borderline unsafe.

Had a great time, the complex itself is fine, we were lucky and had a recently refurbished room with brand new kitchen air-con and furniture. Don't expect to be in the centre of Cannes, it's about a 25 minute walk to the port, so doable if you're up to it and you can stop off at the very Cabins on the way for a drink or snack. The pools are great and the beach is literally across the road! Parking is a little tricky, but we managed to get one right outside on the street as ours didn't include a space in the underground car park, but there are spaces by the beach and there is a car park just around the corner. Superb bakery just a short walk away and the usual superb mini markets with everything you'll need.

Very kind and helpful personnel, clean and comfortable studio for 3. Clean pool and very good location near the open beaches. Easy to access by taxi and good public transport. There are grocery stores nearby and good for a short summer stay

Da quasi 30 anni frequento Cannes per periodi più o meno lunghi; abitualmente vado in appartamenti a Cannes centro, quest’anno il tutto esaurito mi ha portato a La Bocca, 3,5 km di passeggiata lungomare da Cannes. Il 3 piano fronte mare del Pierre et Vacances Verrerie regala una bella vista sulla piscina e sul mare; il balcone attrezzato permette gradevoli pasti all’aperto. Il bilocale era pulito e con spazio sfruttato all’estremo: armadi ad angolo e una camera matrimoniale con appena lo spazio per girare intorno al letto camminando lateralmente e trattenendo il fiato per rimpicciolirsi. Attrezzato con lavastoviglie, piatti, pentole, aspirapolvere ecc, aveva tutto il necessario per una vacanza anche di lunga permanenza. I garages sotterranei erano comodi e compresi nella tariffa dell’appartamento, un risparmio minimo di €20/gg rispetto alle soluzioni in centro a Cannes, dove il parking è sempre a pagamento. La reception non fa orario continuato ma, quando presente, il personale è accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Se non disturba la distanza da Cannes, il Verrerie è una valida alternativa, con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Nous ne nous attendions pas à cela.. La résidence et très grande moi qui ne peu pas bcp marche le chemin était long pour accéder à l'appartement. L'ascenseur et tombe en panne 2 fois en 1 semaine nous étions au 6eme étages la propreté extérieur était bien mais dans les étages catastrophique des poubelles 1 semaines à la même place des cartons dans les escaliers autant dehors la propreté et convenable mais l'intérieur il y a vraiment à revoir.... Les 2 piscines était propres bien entretenu.

Les +: Logement bien équipé et fonctionnel, draps et linge de toilette à disposition avec un kit entretien, Clim, congélateur, lave vaisselle , baignoire, très belle vue sur mer! Personnel agréable . Résidence propre. Les - : place de parking très exiguë , difficile de rentrer dans sa voiture quand un autre véhicule est stationné à côté ( et c’était en février, j’imagine même pas en août …). Attention, la voie ferrée est juste en dessous de la résidence.
